Be Fiona:

It's been two weeks since I birthed my baby. He's still in the hospital.

Liam didn't come, he hasn't been here since the birth. He was only here for that because I needed a driver. He's scared that he won't be a good enough father for our child.

Dispite the fact that my baby has been here 2 weeks, he's only grown .5 pounds. 14 days and only 4.5 pounds. I hope my baby survives.

*time skip*

This is the 17th day that I've been in this hospital, and I finally get to hold my baby. The doctors walk with me into his room. He seems to finally be breathing properly. I pick him up, swaddling him in my arms. I start to cry. After 34 years, I finally got my baby...

Today the doctors will be letting me take my baby home. Just after I name him. Liam and I had talked a little about this. We decided something with a J. I discussed it with the doctor.

"Jack just isn't cutting it."
" Jess sounds too girly." "John, that one is okay but I still didn't like it."
I said as the doctor handed out suggestions for J names.

"What about Jake?" The doctor asks me.

I look down at my little boy, wrapped up in a blue blanket. I knew, that that'd be his name. Jake English.

"I love that name! My baby's name will be Jake English!" I said excitedly.

Little Jake cooed at me as we left the hospital. I put him in his car seat and started driving home. I pulled in the driveway, turning off the car, opening the back door, and unbuckling Jake. I still can't believe that this was my baby, after a year of trying, I finally got my baby. I am gonna love him until I die.

I bring Jake inside, sitting down with him on the couch. I poke his tiny little nose, that makes him giggle. I laugh as well. I hear Liam come downstairs and I stand up walking over to him.

A huge grin is on my face as I ask Liam, "do you want to hold our baby?"

Liam smiles back, nodding. I hand him Jake. Liam looks into Jake's eyes. Jake then starts to cry. Liam's eyes have went from sparkling with joy, to immediate sadness. I take Jake back in my arms.

"Shhh, it's okay Jake. Shh, it's okay. It's just dad." I say.

Liam then proceeds to yell at me. "How dare you not let me name my child!!!" He screams at me.

"How dare you not be there while I stayed to make sure my child lived through those 16 days after birth!!!" I shouted back.

Liam then smacked me as hard as he could smack my cheek. I covered the mark with my hand, tears threatening to fall.

"I don't want anything to do with YOUR baby. I wanted MY baby, not yours." He said, going downstairs. I walked up to Jake's room.

Holding him tightly, I sat in the corner. I cried. How could his own father not want such a precious little boy?

I had cried till it was time for me to make dinner. I put Jake in his crib, as he'd fallen asleep in my arms. I checked his pulse then ran downstairs to make dinner.

During dinner, all Liam and I did. Was stare. After I'd finished eating, I went back upstairs. Finding a crying Jake. I picked him up, patting his back. I saw a little match sitting next to the crib, the striker sitting next to it. I ran back downstairs to Liam.

"You were going to burn my baby!?!?" Tears were in my eyes as I held onto Jake tighter.

"Of course I was! I can't live in a house with a child that isn't even mine!" He said.

"He's your biological son! He has your last name. He's our child! " I yelled. Jake started crying and I held him looser. Looking straight in Jake's eyes. "It's okay baby. Please don't cry. You'll be okay baby." I said to Jake. He started to calm down. Then Liam took Jake from me.

"Fiona, he's not my child. I'm throwing him out." Liam said. He then put Jake in the trash can and started to tie up the bag. I hurriedly grabbed Jake, running out of the house. I saw Liam running after me. But I kept running, I ran so far that I had reached my mother's house.

I knocked loudly and came in as fast as she could open the door. I then sat on the couch and checked Jake's pulse. Good, he was breathing. I let out a sigh of relief.
