Jeonghan's P.O.V
I wrapped my hands around his neck and pulled him closer against me. I dug my knee against his crotch and kissed him harder. I sucked on his lip when there was a sudden bang. I jumped away from him and stared into his eyes. Then I heard the shouting. I felt Jisoo's fingers skim my arm before I was sprinting across the yard. I heard him behind my, but didn't slow.
I shoved people out of my way as I raced to defend my cousin. I glanced into the bedroom they had been in to see there clothes strewn across the room. My stomach dropped. I forced my legs to move faster. With a shout I threw open the front door.
Cho and Kalee were in nothing but their undergarments and Kalee was covering Cho with her body. Cho was in a tight ball and my uncle was throwing kicks at Kalee. Fury rose up inside of me. I knew Cho and Kalee hadn't been doing anything. I trusted Kalee even though she was drunk, and I trusted Cho more. "YA!!!" My voice rang out over my uncles shouts. "No child of mine will be a gay," he screamed. Other parents were shouting things like 'Satan's spawn,' 'fag,' 'freak', and plenty other stuff.
Aunt Alex was sprawled on the lawn clutching her face staring on with a look of horror. I heard her screaming stop, but it was very distant. I was slightly aware of Jisoo grabbing for me, but then I was flying across the yard. I slammed into him, tackling him to the ground. I heard breath I knocked out of him. I wasted no time and started throwing punches at his face as hard as I could. I barely felt it as his fist connected squarely with my jaw. My head rang for a moment before I pinned him back down.
He bucked wildly under me trying to get me off. I had to focus on hitting and pinning him down. It was hard but I was determined. All of a sudden I was hauled off of him, and he was flying at me. The other adults held me in place as he punched me again and again. I couldn't fight back at all. I tried to kick him, but I was too tired. My head was spinning and I could barely see through the blood dripping into my eyes.
And then they were gone. The punches. I opened my eyes wider and felt the others drop me as Jisoo threw my uncle as far away from me as he could. He lunged at him and threw a couple punches before turning back to me. He ran over and helped me to my feet. Without a seconds pause he kissed me. It was very gentle. I knew he was scared to hurt me, and of the others watching. When he pulled away he said in a very loud very clear voice, "I love you! Saranghae. Te amo. Je t'aime. I love you and I wish I could tell you just how much but that's impossible." He said. My heart jumped with each word.
And then the moment was ruined. My uncle ran at us so I punched him right in the face as hard as I could. He fell to the ground. "What's wrong? Mad you got the shit beat out of you by a faggot," I snarled at him before spitting at his feet. There were people gathering around. I spotted Hansol among them. He seemed frozen with shock and then he raced for Kalee and Cho. He helped them both up. He gave Kalee his hoodie and Cho his shirt.
"I'm driving," he said. Jisoo tossed him his keys as I went to help my aunt Alex. She had tears streaming down her cheeks and practically let me drag her to the jeep. I set her in with Kalee and Cho. Mary jumped into the passenger side seat and handed me the keys to the Subaru without a word. I nodded and turned to the crowd. They made a path for Jisoo and I as we made our way to the car. I could hear them whispering, but I tried to ignore it.
I turned suddenly to my uncle. "Don't bother coming back," I snarled. He blinked at me in surprise, then I turned back around and followed Jisoo closely to the car. We got in without a word. Jisoo started to car and I noticed how hard his hands were shaking. I reached out hesitantly then laid a hand gently on his arm. He turned his dazzling eyes on me. "It'll be okay." I said quietly. He nodded and began to drive. He intertwined our fingers and we followed Hansol down the road.
"Do you think he'll come back," Jisoo asked quietly. I shrugged. I didn't think he would. Not for awhile anyways, but I was mainly worried for Jisoo. I hadn't seen his parents' faces, but I had a feeling they were furious. I squeezed his hand and leaned my head against the window. We slowly made our way back to the house.
When we pulled up Hansol was helping Aunt Alex into the house. Mary was worrying around them while Kalee and Cho leaned heavily on each other, still wearing Hansol's clothes. I sighed and got out of the car. Jisoo followed as I wrapped one arm around Kalee's waist and the other around Cho's. At first they pulled away and then they seemed to realize it was me. Kalee slumped into me and Cho practically gave up on standing.
Jisoo was there to help almost instantly. He took Cho from me and followed Mary and Hansol into the house. "Where do we put her?" I asked Kalee. She pointed to their bedroom. Then she helped Hansol get her mom into her room. "Put Cho in my bed," she called. Jisoo and I shared a look before taking the two passed out girls to the room.
After tucking them in we went out into the living room to see Mary and Hansol looking tired on the couch. They were staring at each other the way I'm sure Jisoo and I stared at each other. I felt awkward. Like I was seeing something I wasn't supposed to. I turned to Jisoo and he had a small smile on his face. He turned and met my gaze with his own.
We left the living room and the lovers too. We went to my room and I collapsed onto my bed. "Goodnight Joshua. I love you."
