Chapter 6:
Haley's P.O.V.
"Like...meet meet?" I asked.
"Yes. Soon. Go to school-"
"But you just told me not to go to school!" I objected.
"Go. You need to go. Learn something for me. I'll call you later," he said and hung up.
I hoped he would make up his mind soon. And stop messing with my already fuck up mind.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I dropped Emma (the lizzard) and Charlie to school and made my way into mine.
"Haley!" I heard behind me.
I made it to my locker before looking to my left I saw Damon.
"I'm sorry about last week." he said.
"It's fine. I just...don't want to be touched right now," I said and took my English book out of my locker.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Nothing," I said.
"Come on, Hail. Just tell me," he said and slung his arm over my shoulder.
"Don't!" I yelled and shoved him away from me.
"Hey, hey, hey! What's going on here?" I heard a woman asked.
Damon and I turned to look at her.
She was waering dress pants and a button up shirt. Blonde hair up in a bun and blue eyes covered by a pair of glasses.
"Who are you?" Damon asked all flirty to the woman.
"I am your new English teacher. Are you two together?" she asked and slung her back over her shoulder.
"No," we both said.
"Good. Then I will not be seeing your hands on her again, Mr...."
"Lavine. But you can call me Damon," he said.
"I will be calling you whatever comes to mind this year, Mr. Lavine," she said and walked back to the English room.
"Are you flirting with the teacher?" I asked.
"No way she's a teacher. Too yummy," he said and licked his lips.
"Oh my god!" I said and slammed my locker shut, going to English.
-------------------------------------
"Hello class. My name is Mrs. Reynolds and I will be your English teacher for the remain of this year. I'm not into the whole 'let me tell you about myself' crap, so I'm guessing you guys get one last day to work on your papers in class, so get to work! Oh, and before I forget, I need an aid. I can use you for 4 periods a day, everyday. Do we have any volunteers?" she asked and looked around the room.
Literally the whole class raised their hands except for me. I wasn't one to help people who already had enough.
"How about you," she said and pointed right at me.
"I didn't exactally volunteer," I said.
"I know. But I think I can use your help. Class, get started," she said and walked to her desk.
"Did she seriously just pick you?" Damon asked me from across the room.
I flipped him of and him and a couple of his friends laughed.
I got up out of my seat, walking across the room to Mrs. Reynolds desk.
"Mrs. Reynolds-"
"You will be coming 2nd hour, 4th hour, and then for your choce of whichever hours you like during the day. I will also be your tutor and this will be your study hall. I would also like to have lunch with you if thats alright." she said.
