Chapter 10:
Haley's P.O.V.
An angel. Never-before-seen beauty. So beautiful, I couldn't help at stare at his god-like perfection.
He was at least 19 or 20. Raven black hair like mine. His eyes were the most beautiful blue-green shade I had ever seen. He made a sexy smile, showing brilliantly white, straight teeth.
He was wearing a blue v-neck shirt and a pair of black swim trunks.
He was strong, but not beefy. Nice pecks and obvious 6 pack that I remembered touching in the alley.
I felt a smile growing on my lips as my breathing caught.
"Finally. You see me," he said and I laughed.
He entwined our fingers together, leaned down, and kissed me.
I felt my eyes close, enjoying the kiss. It felt new, almost like nothing before.
He let go of my hands and set them on my hips and pulling me softly untill our bodies touched.
I, once again, entwined my fingers into his pitch black hair.
After a few moments, I pulled away.
"This is the best gift ever," I said and I heard him chuckle.
"I am pretty great aren't I?" he asked.
I giggled as he brought our foreheads to touch eachother. My eyes still closed.
He was making me go crazy. His soft touches, light kisses. What he teasing me?
"You know, this isn't your only gift," he said.
I pulled away to meet his eyes.
"There's plenty more where this comes from. Why don't you go inside and get changed. I'll meet you in the water," he said and walked down to the beach.
Inside? Bullshit. I'm not going to just let myself inside. Besides, I'm good undressing right here.
I took of my jacket and jeans, and left my flip flops in the pile next to his car.
It was warm here. Hot here, even. Not cold like my home.
I had no idea the idea of a simple swim could make my heart pound so hard.
When I made it down to the beach, I saw him lying on his side on a blanket; looking up at the sky.
-Grow a pear, Haley!- I thought.
I took another few deep breaths before walking down to the blanket.
I lay down next to him, sand falling off of my feet onto the bottom of the dark green blanket. He only stare at the sky.
I looked up too, trying to figure out what the fuck he was looking at. All I could see was stars.
"What do you want to know?" he asked.
How did he know I was confused as hell?
I turned my head to look at him. I didn't want to pry my eyes from his, even though he wasn't looking at me.
"How do you find a mate?" I asked him.
He smiled. "Human's don't. We find you. If our mates are human. Some of our mates are others of us. I got lucky," he said.
I felt like I knew him. Even though I had met him days ago. An unbreakable bond I had with him.
"Lucky, huh?" I asked.
"Ugh. Darling you are killing me," he said. Before I knew it, he was over me on his hands and knees.
I looked at him and smiled. He leaned down to kiss me on my mark and it sent a joult af shivers down my body.
