Nico POV

"Nico please..."

"Shut up father!" I snapped at him. "Why should I listen to you. I had one friend. One friend!" I could feel my voice rising with each word. "and you 'gods' trap him in some celestial bronze dome. why should I listen to any of you! I l-" I stopped before I could finish and make myself more of an outcast. Jason's eyes widened when he realized what I almost said. He turned to help me.

"Lord Hades if I go with Nico would you let him go?" he asked carefully. He thought about it for a moment.

"Fine but if Nico gets injured don't return." Jason nodded at my father's threat.

"Fair enough. Come on Nico. " With that Jason swiftly walked out of the throne room me only a second after.

"Jason why did you do that? " I asked him. He smiled at me.

"I could tell you needed this. That and if you were in there much longer you may have rold everyone about your secret." I nodded at hia reasons. Incase uou want to know what we are doing, I am goint to try to shadow travel into the dome that Percy is trapped in and Jason just volunteered to join me. I grabbed his arms and let the shadows take me and Jason to the dome. Once we where there o searched for the shadow closest to the dome. I smiled when I found the dome's shadow.

"Jason!" I called placing my hand on the vine coated dome. I nodded when he walked over and grabbed his arm. I called to the shadows and within moments I was standing in a beautiful garden Each plant was producing a fruit or vegetable. Before I could take a step everything went dark. Being a son of Hades I could still see. I saw a darker shadow dart off in another direction. Grabbing Jason's hand I led him out of the garden without stepping on any plants I led him to the nearest building. It looked like one of those typical little comfy cabins you would find in any painting of the early settlers. Opening the door I turned on a light to reveal a small comfy living room. Jason blinked at the sudden light before sitting down on the couch.

"Stay here Jason I'm goint to look around. " he nodded.

"Alright, be careful" I nodded before stepping out the door and shutting it behind me. I heard a noise in the forest and found myself staring at Percy. He looked better than before which was saying something. I stepped closer and he cocked his head to the side. I went to take another step but he lunged at me. In less than a minute I was pinned to a tree by knives through my clothing and another at my throat.

"Who are you and how did you get in here?" he said quietly whole one of his feet scruffed the ground. I watched as Gaea materialised behind him.

"Percy it's me, Nico." I said quickly. His grip on my shoulder loosened.

"Nico?" his voice cracked slightly.

"Yeah, I brought Jason too. He should be in the small cabin." I said. Before I could say anything else he started removing daggers from my clothing and I dropped to the ground. Percy pulled me into a blind hug which I returned happily. Once he let go I stepped back. Only to watch as the shadow I saw earlier slam itself and absorb into Percy's body causing him to stumble as his eyes flashed a dark black color.

"Percy are you okay?" I asked once his eyes turned thier usual color.

"Yeah it happens every time it goes dark. If you wait a few minutes the lights will return." As if on cue the lights returned. I took this chance to get a better look at him. His muscles were perfectly toned and his skin still had that perfect tan. His hair had grown longer and now framed his face. I was pulled out of my thought by Percy speaking.

"Come on, lets go see Jason!" he said excitedly. Gaea just smiled at him. Percy quickly led me back to the cabin and threw open the door.

"Sparky!" he exclaimed as he pulled Jason into a hug. "You guys have no idea how good it is to see another face" he said softly. Gaea crossed he arms as her smile slipped into a scowl.

"Ahem" Percy smiled at her.

"No offence Gaea" he reassured.

"How have you been Percy? " Jason questioned while eyeing Gaea cautiously.

"Better than you would believe. Did you know I could cook? Hey stay here. Gaea keep them company" and with that he dashed out and into another room. Leaving us alone with a frowning earth goddess.
