Nico POV

Nico was in shock. Percy had just made the ultimate sacrifice. He would be spending the rest of his life as the guardian of the earth goddess. Now he understood the aura of fear, worry, and guilt he had felt around Percy. Annabeth was shattered. Banging her fist on the dome of smooth metal. "Percy you idiot, Seaweed brain come back" she continued to scream. Nico finally built up the courage to place a hand on her shoulder. Silent tears running down his face. "Calm down Annabeth its okay" he soothed. She whirled around to face him. "It is not okay, he is trapped in there with that dirt goddess!" she screamed at him. "Calm down we can't get him out if you won't work" Nico reasoned. There was a bright flash behind them. Nico turned around and frowned. The gods where standing there, just standing. Gaea's army was gone. The only proof it had ever existed was the monster dust blowing around and the wounded demigods. Aphrodite rushed to Annabeth's side. " I know honey come with me" she said gently leading her away from the bronze dome. Nico walked right up to the gods. "How could you" he asked angrily. "After everything you just let him sacrifice himself to save your sorry hides" he yelled tears threatening at his eyes but he held them back. He felt two sets of hands grab his shoulder. Turning quickly he saw Leo and Jason, Hazel, Piper, and Frank where behind them. Leo had tear streaks on his face as well as Piper and Hazel. Leo looked at the gods. Disgust hidden in his eyes. "Why?" he asked simply. "Why?"

Athena looked nervously at the demigods. She looked like she was about to say something when Annabeth exploded. She pointed at her mother. "This was your idea" she yelled. Everyone froze and turned to Annabeth. "Now daughter listen its-" " You did this to keep us apart. You never approved of Percy because he was a son of Poseidon. You made a plan to keep us seperate" Annabeth yelled/hissed, tears still sliding down her cheeks. Aphrodite held her hands up to stop Athena from harming her daughter. "She's in shock. She is just trying to figure out what happened so she jumped on an idea." she explained before turning to a shaking Annabeth. "Sleep child" she said her voice laced in charmspeak. Suprisingly Nico didn't feel tired. Annabeth nodded before she curled up on the ground. Her breathing soon slowed, proving she was asleep. Aphrodite picked Annabeth up and flashed out. Returning a moment later. Everyone stared. "What?" Aphrodite asked "I know all the symptoms of a broken heart and let me tell you she has come down with a major heart break" she explained. "Oh and Poseidon a word if you'd please?" she asked with a pained look. He nodded looking confused before following her out of hearing range. When he came back he looked worried and disgusted at the same time. Nico looked at the rest of the seven. "What now?" he asked the gods. Zeus stepped forward. "We wish to make you all immortal and we plan to if you want it or not" he finished. The others looked at Nico confused. "Last time P-Percy refused them" he explained. They all nodded and the gods smiled. A light appeared and settled over the group. It warmed thier skin and when it faded they felt stronger. "Percy was made immortal a few days ago" Hestia explained softly "He is a worty hero with a true, pure heart"
