Ten

[Lizas POV]
Kristen walks over to me with two smoothies.
"You okay?" She hands me one.
"I don't know..I tried calling David but he didn't answer. Gabbie is acting weird too" I thank her.
"Hey Im sure he's okay! Come on, lets go in here" we seperate from everyone else and walk into M.A.C, I upload my video from my phone and put it back in my pocket.
"Do you need anything?" Kristen turns to me.
"I think just foundation, concealer and primer.." I look for my colour.
"Im only getting mascara and eyeliner" We pay for our things and walk over to everyone else.
"Guys Im getting really worried" I say.
"About what?" Gabbie asks.
"David hasn't called or texted me"
"His phone could be dead?" Carly suggests.
"I think I'll go to his apartment.. see you at home Gabbie, bye guys" I manage to make my way to his apartment building, his car is still here. I knock on his door and there's no answer, I try calling him again.
"David?" I call out but theres nothing but silence. I text him over and over but theres still no reply. I call Gabbie.
"Gabbie..."
"Liza are you okay? Where are you?"
"Im outside his apartment.. he won't answer any of my calls"
"I'll come pick you up okay?"
"Okay. See you soon" I hang up and I stare at my phone, just waiting for a reply.

After what felt like forever, Gabbie texted me. I slowly walked outside to her car.
"Hey" She says softly.
"Where is he?" I say to myself.
"Liza you only got with David yesterday" I look at her with hate.
"Gabbie how could you say that?! Yeah I got with him yesterday but he's still my best friend!"
"I thought I was your best friend?" I roll my eyes and open the door.
"Liza where are you going!" She yells from her car.
"Away from you" I turn the corner and walk on Hollywood Boulevard again. I feel the heavy rain drops hit my face and I look up at the sky, the grey clouds turn black within seconds and then thunder strikes. Do I care? No.
I continue to walk in the rain, what if David didn't love me? What if Gabbie told him to say that to me?
"Liza?" I hear from behind, its...Kristen? I turn and see her with Scott.
"Are you okay?" She asks and puts her umbrella over me. I shake my head.
"What happened?" Scott asks. We walk out of the rain.
"Gabbie... she said that 'you only got with David yesterday'..." I continue to tell them what happened.
"Do you want to sleep at our place?" Kristen gives a reassuring smile.
"If its no pro-" Scott cuts me off.
"Its fine"
"Thanks" we walk back to their apartment and I check my social media. David uploaded yesterday.. I watch his vlog, he's with Alex, Gabbie and Heath.
"David, what would you do if Liza died?" Alex asks.
'I-I'd probably quit vlogging..."
"Really?" Gabbie smirks.
"What do you think she'd do?" Gabbie smiles.
"I don't know?" David says.
"Probably nothing honestly.." Gabbie mumbles. I pause it and start to cry, I pick up my phone and call Gabbie.
"Liza whe-"
"Gabbie what the fuck?"
"what?"
"In Davids vlog, 'probably nothing honestly' Why would you say that?"
"I-"
"Don't give me bullshit Gabbie! David isn't answering me OR anyone else"
"Liza-"
"Im coming over to collect my things, put it all outside" I hang up and change into a comfy outfit.
"Liza where are you going?" Kristen says as I pick up my bag.
"Getting my things from Gabbies. I'll be back soon" I open the door.
"Do you want a lift?" I nod and she follows, we get into her car and I feel more anger build.

Kristen stops out the front of the building, I walk to Gabbies apartment and see my stuff outside. I put it all in the trunk of the car and get in.
"Wheres all your stuff?" She starts the car.
"Still in Houston" she nods and we drive back. I still stare at my phone just waiting for his reply. Where are you David?
"David can't just disappear Liza.." I fall back onto the couch and look up at Kristen.
"I know.." I feel my phone vibrating, I pull it out and answer without checking the caller ID.
"Hello?"
"Liza.."
"DAVID WHERE ARE YOU?!"
"I can't say.. don't worry Im okay"
"Why haven't you been answering?"
"Because I was out of service"
"Are you sure your okay?"
"Yes. Meet me at the Hollywood sign"
"What? Why?"
"Just meet me at 6 pm"
"Okay?" I look at the clock and its 3:30. He says bye and hangs up.
"That was weird" Kristen says.
"Yeah..." I change into a different outfit and Kristen drives me.

"Do you want me to stay?" I shake my head, I say bye and start walking up to the sign, I check my phone and its 3:58 pm. 
"Surprise" I look up and see David smiling. I run up to him and hug him.
"Why did y-"
"I wanted to surprise you"
"But.." I look behind him and see a blanket layed out.. it was a date.
"I wanted to reply but I couldn't" He holds my hand.
"I thought something bad happened!" I hit him playfully.
"Im sorry..do you l-"
"Yes I love it" we sit down and the sun starts to set. 
"David...about what you said in your vlog"
"Yeah?"
"If I died you'd quiet vlogging?" He nods.
"And what Gabbie said.." He looks at me strangly.
"What did she say?"
"She said if you died I would do nothing probably.. she smiled" I rest my head on his shoulder.
"Don't worry about her" he smiles and it becomes colder.
"Here" he offers his jacket.
"No its fine.." I laugh.
"Why are you laughing now?"
"Because thats cliche!" We both laugh and David wraps his arm around me.
"Liza..." I look up at him. 
"I love you" He smiles.
"I love you too David"
