Chapter 15

Previously

     "Rob!" Crystal tried to go to him, but she was pulled back up. The last thing Rob remembers was her calling his name before he blacked out.

      Rob opened his eyes and blinked as the light shone from the room he was in. Oh god... What happened?
     "Rob?" Cassy asked from the corner of the room. "Oh thank god you're awake!"
     "W-what happened..?" He asked as he sat up a bit. "Agh!" He looked down to see his shirt off with a bandage wrapped around his waist. Cassy went to him and gently pushed him down.
     "Relax. You were shot. Quin went home and found you unconscious on the floor, losing blood. He quickly rushed you here and Ace treated you." She explained as he laid back. Then he remembered
     "C-Crystal... Her father... He-"
     "She's fine. She's in the waiting room with Jon." His eyes widened.
     "B-but how..?"
     "Quinton. When he found you, he saw Mr. Anders leaving and called the police. Mama and papa arrived just in time to get her out before he was arrested." She told him and he sighed in relief.
     "Please Cassy.. Let me see her. I need to." Rob said. Cassy nodded and left to the waiting room. He closed his eyes. Her father was arrested, so she didn't have to worry anymore.
      He smiled when he saw her come inside. Her brown eyes showed mixed emotions. Relief, sadness, fear. He held his hand out to her and she immediately took it as she went next to his bed.
     "R-Ro-" She whispered before he placed his finger on her lips.
     "Shh. I'm okay, Crys." He placed his hand on her cheek and gently wiped a stray tear away. She teared up before she hugged him, being careful of the wound. He held her close as he hugged her back and she started crying. He softly ran his fingers through her hair, knowing that she needed to let it out.

      Crystal cried as she buried her face in his chest, not caring that he was shirtless right now. She was so scared... Scared of her father... Scared that she lost Rob... The man she loved... She felt him run his fingers through her hair as she calmed down a bit. It was comforting.. He was alive and comforting her and she was so relieved.
      When she finally calmed down all the way she looked up at him. He looked back at her and gently pulled her onto his lap, placing a hand on her cheek. She closed her eyes as she held his hand before she felt something warm on her lips.

      He kissed her. He wanted her to know that he was alive and okay. That he was here for her. And she kissed him back. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around her waist, his hand gently stroking her back and he heard her let out a quiet moan. He pulled away and gently kissed her neck, her head tilting back a little as he nipped and sucked.
     "R-Rob..." She moaned quietly. He smiled and pulled away to look at her, his green eyes sparkling.
     "Its okay. I'm okay. It's just us right now. I thought I lost you for good.."
     "I'm just happy you're alright.." She said softly as she gently moved his blonde-brown bangs from his eyes. He smiled and took her hand, kissing the back of it tenderly.
     "Crystal... You're everything to me.. I love you very much. Please be mine.."
     "I love you so much too Rob... I accept.." She smiled. He smiled back and kissed her again.
     "I promise to protect you.." He whispered against her lips. "For as long as I live.."
     "I know... I trust you.. I trust you to take care of us." She smiled and he pulled away to look at her.
     "You mean..?" She nodded.
     "Yes. I'm pregnant Rob." Rob smiled brightly and held her closer to him.
     "I'm happy. Honest. We don't have to get married yet, but I promise to support you and our baby." He smiled and placed a hand on her stomach. "I'll never let anyone else have you."
     
      Crystal smiled at that and kissed him again.
