As the days went by, Crystal grew more comfortable around the house and around the family. Though she wouldn't really go outside or in public without Rob or Jon with her. Rob was really nice, kind, and even handsome. Wait what?! Well... It wasn't a lie. And he did everything for her and her brother and she was really grateful. She placed a hand on her chest as she felt her heart rate speed up at the thought of him. It's only been 3 months since they started staying with them! Could she really be falling for the skilled and talented Dr. Robert Dires? She sat down on the couch as she started to tear up. If she was, then there was no way he would love someone like her... She's too broken and-
"Crystal?" Cassy's voice interrupted her thoughts. She looked up to see the light brown hair and green-eyed girl come in and sit next to her, but kept her usual respectable distance. "What's wrong? You're crying..." Crystal wiped her eyes. She never cried in front of anyone else besides her brother. Cassy looked worried. She wanted to reach to her, but she didn't want to scare her away... "You can tell me.." She said softly. Crystal teared up more.
"I-I'm not sure Cassy... I'm scared..."
"Scared of what?"
"I'm scared to open up... To admit my feelings..." Cassy nodded as she understood and cautiously, but gently touched her shoulder.
"Its okay. Take your time. I understand that you're not ready. But don't forget that you have all of us, Crys. You're never alone."
"Thank you..."
