      She smiled before she slowly fell asleep in his arms.

      A month passed after the events that took place and Crystal and Rob were fully recovered. Jon was very upset when Ace told him about what their father really was, but soon calmed down and decided to continue his new life with the loving family. He even asked Cassy to be his girlfriend and she accepted, making them a cute couple of three weeks! Crystal finally recovered from her past and opened up to Rob and his family. Henry and Eliza were more than happy to accept her and her brother in permanently. She and Juan even became close, when he wasn't so busy and Ace admitted that he was going to propose to him soon. She smiled as she came down to see her boyfriend sitting on the couch talking with her brother. When Rob noticed her, he smiled brightly.
     "Hey Crys! I was just discussing something with Jon."
     "Oh? What about?" She tilted her head curiously as he smiled and got up.
     "I'll tell you. Would you like to go for a walk?" He held his arm to her and she smiled, linking her arm with his.
     "Sure." He smiled and went outside as Jon winked at them.

      Rob smiled as he and Crystal walked to the meadow. The same one where they both confessed over a month ago. He wanted this to be special for both of them. As soon as they arrived, he turned to her and took her hand, interlocking their fingers.
     "Crystal... I know I've said this a hundred or more times, but I love you. More than anything. I know I wasn't there to protect you from your father and Jake, but I swear I will from now on. I want to be with you. For the rest my life. I promise to support you and our baby. So I have to ask..." He stopped as he took out a small black box and knelt down on one knee, opening it to reveal a blue diamond ring with a silver band. "Crystal Anders. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

      Crystal gasped softly as she covered her mouth and teared up. Rob just proposed to her! She struggled a bit to find her voice before she spoke.
     "Y-yes.. Yes, I will.. I love you too, Robert Dires.." Rob smiled brightly as he slid the ring on before standing up and hugging her tightly. She hugged him back just as tightly, burying her face in his shoulder. He softly ran his fingers through her hair. "I-I'm just so happy.. I would want nothing more than to be with you.. I'm scared to have this, but I'm also happy and excited."
     "I'll be with you. I promise." He smiled. "I'm excited as well. In fact, I was thinking of moving into our own place. Just a block away from the house. I already bought the house and looked through the whole thing last week. It's perfect for us."
     "You did it without me?" She teased, but smiled. "But I trust you. I don't care where I am as long as I'm with you."
     "Same goes for me." He smiled and kissed her forehead gently. "And I'll always stay by your side. No matter what, I'm never leaving you. God forbid me if I do." She giggled and smiled.
     "We should head back and tell your family and my brother the news."
     "Yes." He smiled and took her hand. "Never thought, in all my years being a doctor, that I would fall for one of my patients."
     "I guess fate had its own plans, Dr. Dires." She giggled and he laughed.
     "I guess so! But I'm glad it was you. Since that fateful day at the hospital."
     "Me too." She smiled. He smiled before stealing a passionate kiss.

      He loved her as she loved him. And no matter the trials that came, they would always remain together. Until the end of time.
