Two weeks later.

Crystal was reading outside under a favorite tree when she noticed someone go up to the house. Rob and Jon were both at work as well as Cassy, and Henry and Elizabeth were out of town, so it was just her and Quinton at the house. She marked her place and got up, going over to the stranger.
"Hello? Can I help y-" She stopped when the man turned to her and she recognized those blue eyes. "J-Jake...?"
     "Hello Crystal. I got word that you were and that your father was arrested. Thought I'd come by and finish the job." Her eyes widened as she backed away and tried to run past him, but he grabbed her wrist and pinned her to the wall, his other hand grazing her neck. "I see someone marked you. Who was it?" She shook her head and his gripped tightened, making her wince a bit. "Tell me!"
     "N-no!" She said before he slapped her hard, leaving a red mark on her cheek.
     "Bitch! You've been cheating on me, like I knew you would!"
     "That's rich coming from you!" Someone said. Jake turned around to see Quinton standing with his arms crossed. "Let her go and there won't be any trouble."
     "And who the hell are you? Her boyfriend?"
     "That is none of your concern! Now I'm giving you 10 seconds to leave this place or I'm calling the police." Jake smirked.
     "Oh I'll leave~ But she's coming with me!" He said before he quickly took out his gun and shot Quin. Quinton fell to the ground, holding his side.
     "Shit!"
     "Quin!" Crystal said before Jake grabbed her and bolted to the car, driving off. Quinton coughed a bit before he noticed Rob and Ace pull in and quickly went over to him.
     "Quin! What happened?!" Rob asked his little brother before he noticed the wound. "Oh god.. You've been shot..." He said as he helped him up and into the house. Ace started treating the wound as soon as they sat down.
     "What happened?"
     "Jake Stetson came. He took Crystal..." Quinton replied as Rob's eyes widened.
