Chapter 25: Spend some time

I woke up quite early the next morning, around 9am. I texted Christina good morning before getting up and hopping in the shower. Decided to start my day early even though I had nothing much to do.

After getting ready I asked Christina if I could come over. It may have been a bit weird me coming over now that her mom knew but I wanted to break the ice sooner than later. Plus I knew Christina would
need an extra push with telling her dad.

Chrissy❤: morning J 💗
Me: you busy today ma?
Chrissy❤: don't think so, whatchu tryna do?
Me: just wanted to come over that's all.
Chrissy❤: hmmm yeah 3pm is good.
Me: see you in a few 😊

It was only 10:25 am so I decided to hit the mall and get some holiday shopping in. After eating some cereal, I hoped in the car and called up Trinity. She had made a snap earlier so I knew she was up.

"Trin??"
"Wassup? Why you up so early?" She asked.
" honestly don't know. My body just got up. What you doing right now? You busy?"
"Naaa just finished at the gym"
"Gym? Anyway you wanna hit up the mall?"
"Yeah sure let me hop in the shower right now"
" alright Ima get some gas and make my way to yours"
"See you in a bit" she said before ending the call.

30 mins later I arrived at Trinity's. She came out with her White Adidas tracksuit on and her white slides. She hopped in the passengers seat and plugged her phone into the aux.

"Well hello to you too" I said covering her phone.
"Move your dry ass hands. We best friends, ion need to say hi to you no more you know what it is".

I laughed whilst taking in what she had just said. She shut me up by putting on our favourite song 'say A'. We sang along singing every lyric.

We finally parked up at the mall and walked into H&M.

"Sooo I'm going on holiday and I need holiday clothing sooo whatcha got" I said turning to my friend whilst rubbing my hands together.

"I hate you, only call me when you want help, never call me to check on me anymore. Thought it was a genuine trip to the mall. But nawww" she sighed whilst looking through the racks.

"I know you ain't just lie on me-" as I started to think about it I hadn't really checked on her as much. She would alway check on me. " Trin you know that ain't true. You knew what I was going through. I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you."

She turned to face me with her arms crossed " yeah? And how?"

"Help me find some holiday clothes and I'll treat you to a whole new outfit. I know you be wanting them knew nikeys"

A perfect smile appeared on her face " if you know I want them why didn't you get me them sooner. And You gotta treat me to food"

"How you know I wasn't? And of course you fat ass"

She pushed my chest and continued her search.

It had just gone 1 o'clock and we had finished shopping for the day. Trin and I sat in my car munching on some Wendy's and catching up. She was telling me about her man problems and by the looks of it she sounded like she was going to end things. Trin always knows best which is why I always go to her for shit.

"Ahhh I'm stuffed and tired. Take me home" she demanded.

I did as I was told and played music all the way to her house. After dropping her off I routed to my own house to drop me stuff and freshen up before going to Christina's.

It was 2:34. I laid on my bed watching YouTube videos on my lap top when I heard the door bell. I scrunched up my face.
