Chapter 4:TGIF

It was finally Friday the weekend. I was tired of waking up for school already. I had gotten closer to Jasmine throughout the week Raven also. I had my cheerleading tryouts after school today which I was looking forward too. I had been working on a flawless routine and finally finished it.

I was walking with Raven to my locker to return my unwanted books before going to last registration.

"I see you and Jasmine getting close"

"Who? You mean Jazz yeahh he's..." before I could continue I was interrupted by the bell. "I'll catch you later Ray"

I walked off quickly to registration before I could be marked as late.

I slid in and sat at my seat, Jazz hadn't come yet. I frowned at the fact he might be late.

Miss began to do the register calling out everyone's name.

"Jasmine?"

I looked around for him.

"Not here" someone answered.

She nodded an continued.

"Christina?"

Just then Jazz came in huffing.

"S-sorry I'm l-late" she breathed making her way to get seat.

"See me after class Jasmine centina"

This week had baffled me. His name was Jasmine but isn't that a girls name? Probably unisex.

Miss finally dismissed us and I made my way to the gym where all the Wannabe cheer leaders were, along with the squad an leaders. I sat at the bench as the tryouts began. I watched all the other girls, they were good but I believed I was better.

A few minutes went by when it was finally my turn.

"Christina?"

"That's me" I said standing in front of them.

"When you're ready"

I nodded and put in my cd which played flawless. I then began my routine.

Jazz POV.

I was finally done with that stupid "detention". I walked down the hall towards the exit of the school when I suddenly heard Christina's name being called. I jogged towards the music "flawless" and spotted Christina trying out for cheer leading. Wow she was good. Her routine was amazing and she had sharp moves. Her body was a bonus. I watched her audition till the end before leaving to Find my car.

Exiting the school I found Trinity and raven.

"Wassup guys" I greeted.

"Just chilling. Raven wanted to talk to you though and I need a ride home."

I rolled my eyes at her playfully before turning my attention to Raven.

"I see you and Christina. Getting all close and all, but there's one thing. she thinks you're a boy. She's been calling you "he" all week. I think you should break it to her before it get out of hand".

I was shocked. She thought I was a boy? I really didn't know what to do. I had to tell her but it was too soon. Well at least I thought it was.

Cutting my thoughts Christina walked out of the school exit. She spotted us and strolled over.

"Okay. I'll tell her but not now. Just act like I'm a boy okay? The both of you. "

"Wait wah?" They both said.

"Just do it"

"Just do what?" Christina asked.

She got here fast.

"Uhh we were just talking about nike. You'kno just do it? "

She chuckled not believing a word but didn't point it out. "Okay Jazz, I'll see you next week Ray" she said in the direction of the bus stop.

I hesitated but asked "hey Christina you want a ride?" Trinity nudged me so I did back.

She looked back with the most beautiful grin on her face. "You sure?"

"Yeah sure, only live a few blocks away from me"

She nodded and walked back over.

"Hey?" Trinity said.

"I'll drop you first don't worry."

Raven said goodbye before returning to her car while we all pulled up in mine. Trinity was in the front and Christina was in the back.

"So you going to introduce us or naw" trinity pointed out.

"Oh right. Trinity, Christina. She moved over from Spain."

"Nice to meet you, Jasmine.." I hit her quickly "Jazz sorry is my.... boybestfried"

"Nice to meet you too"

"So uh you got a boyfriend in Spain or something? The Spanish dudes be mad cute" Trin asked.

I rolled my eyes feeling slight jealousy even though I never knew the answer yet. I sped up wanting to get Trinity out.

"Naaaa. I dated a few but it wasn't love" she answered.

"I see, you looking for a long term right? Well Jazz here is your gi-guy" Trin blurted.

"Goodbye now" I said stoping outside of her house.

She laughed and said her goodbyes before. Exiting my car.

Christina joined me at the front to direct me.

We made convo and asked each other questions. I wanted to be honest with her but I kept thinking about the negative.

What if she's not on that side. What if she drops me because of the real me. What if she doesn't give me a chance. My thoughts were cut when she told me to pull up.

"Thanks Jazz for the ride"she smiled "

"Anytime"

She grinned before unlocking the door. "Hey uh Christina, would you uh like to get breakfast with me tomorrow. I mean just for company of course "

She nodded before taking my phone off the dash board and putting her number in.

"I'll see you tomorrow. Text me though" she then left the car.

I smiled pleased with myself and left to return home.

I had a plan.

I was going to tell Christina the truth when the time was right of course. I was going to make her fall for me. She was a girl that I had been looking for, I wanted her. I wanted to show her that I could treat her just like any man would. I was going to prove to her that I was a man in a girls body.
