Chapter 28: I want you

"Before you say anything I need to let you know something"

He blinked at me with his brow raised.

"This cant happen anymore. You are a beautiful amazing guy but this is not what I want. I thought I did but my heart said differently. I like you, as someone who will be a great friend to me. I'm sorry if I led you on or made you catch feelings, but it wouldn't be fair to keep playing with you knowing this is not for me. I don't want our friendship to end but I can understand if it does."

I took a breather and sat back in my seat.

It was silent for a couple seconds before he broke it.

" I appreciate your honesty, I can't lie I was beginning to feel you but I'm happy this happened before anything regretful happened. We will always have a friendship. And..... I wish the best for you and Jaz"

"I appreciate you so much, trust me you're a good guy Donnel, you'll find a good girl to match." I responded

I smiled a little at him before hold my arms out in the car. We hugged and said our goodbyes. I sat outside his house for a minute prepping myself to go to Jaz's.
I tried to call her but she wasn't having it, straight to her answer phone.

After a half hour I knocked on her door. As it opened it revealed her mom.

"Oh hey Mrs Centina, is Jaz in? I need to talk to her"

She shook her head and let me know that Jaz was at the mall. I thanked her and skipped back to my car.

I parked in the parking lot right next to her and ran to the mall entrance. The mall was extremely packed today so I had to think. 'Where would she be' and it clicked. Forever 21.

My phone kept vibrating but it was too far down in my bag to reach, plus I wasn't in the mood to talk to anybody right now.

I browsed around Forever 21 and found nothing but a pair of trunk. To be honest I wasn't even in the mood for shopping, my head was hurting from everything that was going on. Losing the love of your life has to hurt the most. I don't understand, we'd been through so much and yet she still threw it all away. I sighed as I walked to the checkout letting my thoughts run when suddenly i heard a familiar voice.

I stopped.

"Jazmine Centina, the one and only. I know you're in here, you can't ignore me forever. I love you Jaz as much as I try to turn away you're in every direction. I honestly don't deserve you, you've been nothing but good to me. We had a rough start but that's how things like these work. It took me a long time to come to terms with it but that's normal, it's all new to me. I don't know what I am, lesbian, gay, bi but I know I love you and I want to be with you. I want to grow old with you. Have children with you. Get married to you. Have my grey hair with you. It's you I want you and only you and I'm sorry I took so long to realise but everything happens for a reason. You are truly my everything and I don't know what I'd be without you. The truth hurts but this feeling doesn't."

I looked toward the counter and watched Christina holding the store microphone with tears in my eyes my whole body melting inside.

She looked right back at me with her eyes red from her teary speech and her smile trembling. I walked right up to her and kissed her as passionately as ever. It was me and her. How it was always meant to be.

"I love you Jaz"

"I love you too"

Later that day we finished packing, we were leaving in the morning.
I stayed at Jaz's house as her mom was talking us to the airport.
We laid up in her bed, all cuddled up, exactly how it was meant to always be.

"How'd you know I was in forever 21? How'd you even know I was at the mall?" She asked curiously

"Your mom told me, plus I know you too well to not know where you shop."

"True true. You ready for this holiday?"

"You know I've been ready" I nod

It went silent for a minute and I know exactly why.
I sat up and sat on her torso looking into her beautiful dreamy eyes, with my hand caressing her cheek.

"I really am in love with you."

"She laid up resting on her elbows"
