Chapter 21: What A Night

Wow... they tied. Seems like Storyswap and Cross Chara are loved CHARA-cters. Seriously, I tallied them and everything... Heh, anyways, I picked the most reasonable one. Sorry to those that didn't get their person. Poor Core Chara.. only three votes. Also... take into tonight I said choose who to sleep with... nothing else... heh heh heh...

You decided to sleep with Cross Chara. She seemed lonely anyway, maybe it'll help her feel a little better.

"I'll sleep with Cross Chara please." You say.

Cross Chara gets a light blush on her face and holders her arm which was cute. You tucked Storyswap Chara into bed and went over to yours and Cross Chara's.

Core Chara wanted the one closer to the wall, which was the left one. You put Storyswap Chara in the middle and you and Cross Chara were going to sleep on the right bed.

Core Chara let out a loud yawn and literally jumped into her bed. She didn't bother to take her shoes off and just got as close to the fall as possible before quickly falling asleep. It was not just you and Cross Chara awake.

You got into the bed and awaited Cross Chara. She took her time. First, she sat on the bed and took her shoes and socks off. Then she laid down. You got close to her, her body was cold, she was shivering a bit.

You embraced her in a hug. Cross Chara got a little red and relaxed. You knew she was tired, just not ready to go to sleep. She pulled the blanket over you both and sighed.

"Do you ever think that this is a big game...?" She asked.

"What?"

"A game... like... we are the heros? Maybe... the villains... I dunno.. but.. in a game like that.. there is usually a hero and a villain. Creation could be that character but I highly doubt it. Creation is probably merely a pawn that broke free from somebody grasp." She says while staring up at the ceiling.

"That... deep." You say.

"Sorry... I'm sure you regret sleeping with me now." She says sadly.

You give her a kiss on the cheek. "Nope."

Her face flushes red as she snuggles into you and closes her eyes.

You couldn't help but think. A game...? If it were true... Creation is the villain... you are the heros... but... how do you win..?

Your thoughts were interrupted by soft snoring. You look at Cross Chara to see that she was sound asleep. She looked cute, very cute. You put your arms around her body and rested your head on hers. You were now in a nice cuddle. You slowly closed your hands and drifted off to sleep.

You feel somebody shaking you. You swat whatever it was away without opening your eyes. The person shakes you again. You groan softly and do it again. They shake you again. You open your eyes angrily and see Core Chara looked down at you.

"Core Chara what are yo-"

"Shhh." She shushed you. "You don't want to wake them up right?" She whispered.

You looked to your side to see a peacefully sleeping Cross Chara. On the next bed over you see an adorable sleeping Storyswap Chara. You sit up and rub your temples. Core Chara grabs your wrist and pulls you out of the bed.

"Now... follow me." She whispers.

You nod. She begins to quietly open the front door and motions you t go out. You do and she quietly closes the door. She goes in front of you and motions you to follow her, you do. You follow her through alleyways of the destroyed town.
