Chapter 17: What Lies Within

You walked in the judgement hall. Core Frisk said it was a genocide timeline. So what genocide timeline coul-

You heard somebody walking in from the other side of the room. You quickly hid behind one of the pillars. You heard footsteps on the hard floor. You the see a Frisk body come through. Then Sans pops in. Just like any normal genocide run.

Then, the battle started. The Frisk.... no.... Chara attacked Sans. Sans was no match for the Chara. He couldn't keep up with any of her attacks.

Suddenly, Sans was sliced cleanly in half. His top half flew a few feet before landing back on the ground. Sans began to talk to himself, as if others were there next to him.

Then suddenly, Asgore shouted from the entry way. He threw a soul container with an orange human soul inside it.

"I won't let you!" The Chara yelled. She was going to go after it but a vine grabbed her leg to stop her.

"Hey! Smiley Trashbag! You better win this!" Flowey said only seconds before being cut to shreds.

Chara began to get up and run for Sans again, but Asgore brought out his trident and stabbed her in the back. "I won't let you!" You yelled.

The Chara grabbed her knife and slices down Asgore. She then quickly got up and ran for Sans.

"Asgore!" Sans yelled as he caught the soul. "I promise... to all those who have fallen... your efforts will not be in vain!"

"I won't let you!"

Sans started absorbing the soul.

"I will not fail you!"

"I won't let you!"

A blast of energy filled the room as Sans absorbed all of the souls power. He now floated in the air with his entire body and an Orange soul over his monster one.

You were surprised. He had a little Gaster blaster face on his back that allowed him to float in the air. He also had orange gauntlet type things on his hands. His frown turned into his normal smile as his left eye glowed orange instead of blue. Black streaks ran down his eyes which were now a natural look.

Sans then flew toward the Chara at high speed punching her in the gut. The another punch to the face and gut. Finally finishing with an uppercut to her jaw followed by a Gaster blaster which pushed the Chara to the other side of the room.

Sans then spun a little and summoned a plethora of bones and sent them all Chara's way. Chara quickly got back in her feet and summoned five knives around herself. She starehd running at the bones, going up down and around them all. She put a knife in her hand and stabbed at Sans. Sans easily moved to the side and threw a punch, only for Chara to dodge that as well.

Sans kicked Chara in the jaw, then in the stomach. Chara then suddenly appeared behind him ready to slash him, but Sans barrel rolled in the air to avoid it. Chara then slashed at the side, but Sans floated above it and appeared behind Chara. He then summoned a beam of Orange energy in his mouth and it shot at Chara. She was launched across the room.

Sans landed on his feet and put a normal bone in his hand. "Heh, I think I overestimated you."

"Welp... no use in holding back." Chara said as her body turned all red. "The real fight finally begins!"

Chara then quickly slashed at Sans only for him to block it with the bone he had. He pushed her away with the bone and jumped up swinging at Chara. Chara moved out of the way and swung at Sans and missed. Sans ducked Chara's next attack and swung again at her. Chara moved to the side once again.
