Chapter 2: Friends?

You went downstairs to see that Sans had come back, along with Frisk.

"So pap, is the creepypasta ready?" Sans asked.

"SANS NO!" Papyrus yelled.

"Heh ok sorry bro."

Frisk noticed you coming down the stairs and tugged on Sans' arm.

"Hmm?" He looked at Frisk then he saw you. "Oh, Frisk, that's Y/N, he's a new friend."

Frisk became a bit more comfortable. She went up to you and put out her hand. You gladly shook it.

"Frisk." She said.

"Y/N." you said.

She walks away and back over to Sans. So you decide to go back up stairs. You were going back into your room when you bumped into Chara.

"Hey watch it!" She yelled.

"Oh, sorry..." you apologized.

She sighed. "It's fine... I.. I should have watched out too."

Chara apologizing? Wow, did you travel to a different AU?

You got up and offered her a hand for her to get up. She hesitated at first but took it. You pulled her up which caused her head to hit yours. You both yelled "ow" at the same time which caused you both to blush.

"S-sorry about that." She stuttered.

"It's ok Chara, it was an accident." You say and smile at her.

"I-I wanted to say... sorry... for uh... yelling and being mean to you." She said.

"It's ok Chara..." you reassured which made her smile.

Chara was having a big dilemma with herself, should she become friends with you or not.

You wanted to go back to your room still, you didn't want to bother Chara.

"I'll just go to my room." You said and began to walk past her.

"No wait!" She yelled. You stopped and turned to her. "I uh... I want to become your friend.."

This shocked you. You didn't think that Chara would ever want to become your friend, like ever, but you were happy she does.

"Of course we can be friends Chara!" You exclaimed happily. She smiled.

"Thank you!" She then hugged you. You were surprised. Once Chara realized what she was doing she let go. "Um... sorry."

"It's alright, stop apologizing." You day and chuckle.

"Sorry for saying sorry to much." She joked.

You laughed. "I can tell we will be good friends."

You then went into your room. Flowey wasn't in there anymore. You sat on your bed. You wanted to go back to Geno. You needed more info. You couldn't do anything here.

You then hear somebody come in the room. It was Chara.

"So I was thinking... now that we are friends, we should, you know hang out or something." She said.

"Well sure, what do you want to do Chara?" You asked.

"I uh... I don't know." She said.

"Hmm. Well I don't know either Chara." You said.

"Well.. we could just hand out here.." she said and sat next to you.

"Hmm. Maybe. But what would we do here?" You asked her.

"I don't know..." she whined. You chucked.

She then rested her head on your shoulder. You got a weird feeling in your chest. You hadn't interacted with girls in a long, long while. So, you never had any romantic or nice moments with one, especially a Chara.

You smiled and rested your eyes. You were determined to fall asleep again. You needed to go back to Geno.

A portal then opened next to you guys. Ink came through it, he looked a lot better than what he did in Flowerfell when you saw him with Geno.

"Ink?" You asked.

"Y/N!" He said. "Im glad I found you!"

"Y/N? What's going on?" Chara asked.

"Your the Chara from here? Ink asked and Chara nodded. "Well, you became friends with Y/N! I'm happy for you two!"

"Ink is everything ok?" You asked. "Did you recover all the way."

"Most of the way." Ink said. "I'm still in a bit of pain here and there."

"Recover? What?" Chara asked confused.

"It's a lot to explain." Ink said.

"Oh no! I forgot about Storyshift!" You yelled.

"Storyshift too?" Ink questioned.

"Yes!" You yelled. Ink didn't pay attention to how you knew all of this at the moment, he wanted to figure out everything.

"Storyshift?!" Chara yelled. "Somebody please explain this to me."

"You are in one of many AU's. Yours is the classic one, the original." Ink started. "There are many other ones as well. Such as Storyshift. Right now, something is going from AU to AU destroying everything, yet leaving the AU there but uninhabitable. We have evacuated one of them, storyshift I'm assuming was evacuated by Dream by now."

"I don't know if it has" you say.

"Anyway, we have to go!" Ink says and starts to pull you through the portal.

"No! Please! Don't leave me!" Chara yelled.

"Chara, im sorry... I don't want to say goodbye, I will see you again. I'm sure of it." You say and hug her.

She starts to cry. "You better come back!" Chara then runs away to her room crying. Sans comes in.

"What was all tha- oh hey Inky." Sans said.

"Oh hello Sans." Ink says.

"What's going on?" Sans asked.

"No time to explain. I just need to take Y/N and go, but if you see anything usual constancy me ASAP!" Ink said.

"Gotcha bud." Sans then left.

You and Ink went through the portal, unaware that a certain flower followed you both through.
