Chapter 11: X-Chara

"Go away..." the girl said.

You stopped walking toward her. She seemed to glance back a little bit. You saw a red crossed eye. The pupil was surrounded by a red circle with a red X through it. You saw a golden heard locket on her. It began to glow.

A hidden locket that was on you had began to glow as well. She took notice to it.

She immediately stood and summoned a huge knife in her hands. She got in your face.

"Where did you get that!"

"I-I don't know!" You responded.

She gave you a weird look. Perhaps she was trying to tell if you were lying. The knife disappeared from her hands and she went back into a ball on the floor.

You grabbed the glowing pocket from around your neck. You opened it to see some monsters, and a human girl. You were majorly confused. There must be some of your backstory that even you don't know.

You looked at the locket more closely. There was a Sans, and a Papyrus. They looked very happy. You were standing in the middle of them both. There was another being there. A small human child, a Frisk. Nobody else was there. You looked at the Sans and Papyrus closely. The Sans looked similar to the Chara that was sitting before you. But, the Papyrus didn't. Instead he wore Sans' hoodie and over his normal attire. Maybe they were from two different universes? You didn't know. You looked at the Frisk. She had black eyes and a weird skin color. That Frisk isn't from any AU you've seen before. It looked like you were in a weird area. Not an AU at all.

You finally closed the locket. You thought it was pretty weird. You looked at the girl that was sitting in front of you in a ball. You had the courage to talk to her. Even if she might kill you.

"Are.. you alright?" You ask.

She picked her head up and looked at you. She was definitely a Chara. But her looks were different. Her natural blush had a bit of purple to it. Her skin was pure white as well.

She continued to look at you. Her facial expression showed that she was lost in her own thoughts.

You snapped your fingers quickly. She immediately snapped out of it. She realized that she had been staring at you for a long while, she looked away and got even more red than she already had.

"You... never answered my question." You said. The girl got up, she looked pretty mad.

"Look. If you don't leave right now! I'll blow you out!" She yelled.

She then got even more red than what she already was. "H-hey! I know what you were thinking! And don't think it!"

You were confused. You kept repeating was she said in your head a few times until you finally understood. "Oh." You laughed a little.

"S-stop! I didn't mean it like that!" She slapped you across the face.

To be honest with yourself, it kind of hurt. You covered your cheek. She immediately covered her mouth.

"I'm sorry! I'm just..." she sighed and went back into a ball.

You tilted your head and removed your hand from your face. You sat beside her. "Tell me what's wrong.. I'll try to help you."

She sighed once more. "How do I know I can trust you?" She asked.

You chucked. "I don't think you should be asking that question. I should be. But.. I can tell by your expression that trust has something to do with this. Not a whole lot, but something."

She looked at you. "Your right... the only person that trusted me, well... lest just say I betrayed him." She said sadly. "I don't deserve your help, I don't deserve to be trusted. After the X-Event failed... everything ended for me. My only friend left me so long ago. Somebody offered him a sanctuary where other survivors like him were. He took the offer. Leaving me here all alone. With only my thoughts as company."

You opened your locket again. The sans in this picture must be the one she is talking about.

Also, the X-Event? You barely recall something like that happening. What happened to you? Your memories? Are the memories you know now fake?

"Well... I trust you." You say and give her a friendly smile.

She looks at you shocked and surprised on what you just said. She slowly looked to her feet.

"No..." she stood up and summoned another giant knife. "I don't want anyone to be hurt by me again."

You immediately get up off the white ground. "Says the girl that just summoned an enormous knife. Now come on, we can talk about this."

"No... I'm sorry... but you need to leave this place." She swung at you.

You dodged out of the way. She only kept swinging at you. You never attacked back. As the Chara swung tears started to form in her eyes.

You just kept dodging her attacks. Soon enough the Chara was crying. She stopped attacking and her knife faded away. Her hands covered her eyes as she collapsed onto her knees.

"Just... go..."

You went over to her and put your arm around her. You felt bad for this Chara. She was obviously sorry for whatever she had done. She kept crying. She looked at you after you put your arm around her.

She dug her head into your shirt and cried more. You rubbed her back soothingly. It seemed to call her down a little bit.

"Well first off.. I'm Y/N, and I'll be your friend." You said and she looked up at your face. Her eyes filled with tears still. She then wiped her eyes.

"Why? Why do you want to be my friend?" She asked.

"I don't need to tell you. I think I've shown you why already." You hug her.

She blushes and hugs you back. She starts to say something.

"I.. I feel weird.." she says.

"You do? How do you feel?"

"I.. I feel.. tingly.. like.. when I'm near you." She responds.

You got a little red, you knew what she meant. You kinda did feel the same way around her as well. So you decided to make a move. You gave her a pack on the cheek. Her face went pure red. She looked into your eyes and you looked back into hers. She suddenly smacked her lips against yours. You were taken back by the sudden kiss, but you kissed her back anyways.

The kiss only lasted a few seconds before she separated from you. "That's what I wanted..." she said.

You pulled her closer to you. She seemed to like that and snuggled into your chest. You both sat in the white space for what seemed like hours. You both eventually stood up. You needed to leave her. No matter how much you didn't want to.

"I... have to go.. I need to find a friend.." you said to her.

"Oh.. I see.." she looked sad again.

"No no! You can.. go find my Sans." You said. You. And up with an idea. You pulled a piece of paper and pen out of your pocket. You were writing a now to Sans. You signed it so he knew it was from you and gave it to Cross Chara.

"Here. If you find them, give this note to Sans." You said as she nodded.

"But how do I get out of here." She asked you.

"Well..." you looked behind to see the rift you came tbrough. It was still open. Luckily nobody followed you. "That."

"Oh I see." She started to walk over to the rift. Before she stepped through, she waved to you. You waved back and she left. You were now alone again.

A plethora of rifts appeared again and the original disappeared. You stepped tbrough one.

You were now in darkness. You heard a faint voice in your ears.

"Hello... Y/N."

"Where am I?" Your aksed. "Who are you."

"Your story."
