Chapter 2: ARRIVAL TO THE HIDDEN SAND

Leslie POV
"We have arrived~" Shanel cheered. Wow that's the first time I've seen Shan the man be all preppy in awhile.

"Don't we still have to walk towards the heavily guarded wall that they built around the village." I pointed out. Shanel paused and sighed.

"You're right..." she faked cried. Did she drink something weird on the way here? Cactus juice? "Anyways..." she cleared her throat, "let's meet up with Temari and Kankuro. They should be waiting for us already." We started to speed up our pace until finally we arrived at the gates of the Hidden sand.

"Welcome Konoha Shinobi. It's nice to see the both of you again." Temari shook both of our hands.

"Why so formal?" I punched her arm jokingly.

"Leslie!" Shanel scolded. Kankuro laughed. "I do apolo..." She was cut off.

"You guys don't need to worry so much. We're allies after all." Kankuro smiled. Shanel sighed in relief. He looked at me and smiled. What a Good Samaritan. Temari elbowed Kankuro.

"Follow us we can show you to our Kazekage aka Gaara's office." Temari led the way for us. Shanel and Temari were walking together, while I walked behind them with Kankuro.

"So it's been three years since the chunin exams huh?" He asked looking at me. I nodded my head and smiled.

"Lots have happened, but the two of us became stronger. And by the looks of it you guys became stronger as well, I'm assuming Gaara became extremely strong because he's Kazekage now." I looked at him and smirked. He looked forward and smiled.

"Yeah."

Shanel POV

"Heh, I guess they're getting along back there." Temari smiled and looked down.

"It seems..." I was cut off yet again by Leslie yelling.

"SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THIS IDEA? Grilled cheese stuff crust...." she was shouting.

"LESLIE." I tried to not shout at her as much as possible. Temari and Kankuro laughed.

"You two are so weird." Kankuro continued laughing for a whole minute.

"Thank you?" I looked away and kept walking. I looked at the sky again. Before I could get into much thought Kankuro and Temari stopped at the entrance of the Kazekage building.

"We have arrived." kankuro bowed.

"Once again, welcome to the Hidden Sand" Temari also bowed. What's with the formalities?

"Thank you" Leslie and I both said at the same time. We both glared at each other.

"Before the meeting with the Kazekage, we thought you would like to settle down into your quarters first." Temari suggested to us.

"That would be nice." Leslie nodded. And I agreed with her. Without any second to spare they both showed us to our quarters.

"We will return in one hour." Temari stated as she closed the door.

"Yikes it's like we're dorming together or something." Leslie flopped herself on her bed. I shook my head laughing.

"We should probably go over some of the stuff we need to discuss with the Kazekage, and prepare the item that the Hokage wanted us to deliver." I stated firmly. She groaned and turned away from me on her bed.

"I wanna sleep for three days for the days that we've been walking." She faked cried.

"Leslie don't you want to prove to Lady Tsunade that we've became strong, don't you wanna shine bright yike a diamond?" I questioned her. She got up and looked at me funny.
