Chapter 19: Attack on the Leaf!

One week later...

Leslion POV

Shanel and I were waiting to get word about Nicoole and receive our orders regarding what to do about Pain and the Akatsuki. It has been only one week and everyone has been busy trying from deciphering the message about "the one is not among them" that Master Jiraiya left, while I helped look at the autopsy of one of the six paths of pain. Naruto left to go to train sage arts which is apparently something very difficult to do based on lady fifths words.

"Leslion, would you give Shanel and myself and the Anbu units that are here the room." Lady fifth ordered me to leave. Wow fake. I nodded my head and left the room. These fakes leaving me out in important conversations.

Not knowing what I was suppose to do, I decided to go sit down on one of the chairs near The Hokage's office door.

Shanel POV

As Leslie left the room I saw that Lady Fifth was spacing out. I cleared my throat.

"Sorry about Master Jiraiya." She looked up at me.
"I know how much he meant to you...if I could of just been there maybe things would of been different..." before I could finish my sentence she slammed her hands on her desk.

"Do you honestly think that you would of made a difference! You're just a kid! You may be powerful, but if even Jiraiya a legendary Sanin couldn't take down Pain, what makes you think you could?!" Tsunade looked at me angrily. I felt my soul shook to the core.

"Isn't it you who always say to believe, the will of fire is passed on." I rebutted back to her. "Maybe it's time for you to believe."

"Watch your mouth, know who you're talking to!" One of the Anbu members threatened me.

"Shut your mouth and you watch your mouth to who you're talking to" I glared at the girl with the purple hair. She fell silent and faced the Hokage. "We need to be prepared in any form that we can." I looked at Tsunade.  She closed her eyes.

"I..." before the Lady Hokage could start speaking there was a loud explosion outside. The entire village shook as though there was an earthquake.

"What was that?" One of the Anbu members said.

"Get on the roof now!" The Fifth Hokage ordered. I ran out the door first running into Leslion.

"Follow me up to the roof now!" I yelled at her. She didn't even question what was going on at this point. We both ran up to the roof and to our horror the entire village had smoke everywhere. 

Leslion POV

I felt myself feel weak in the legs for once in my ENTIRE FACKING LIFE LIKE THIS NOT EVEN A DRILL!!!!

"Leslion" Shanel got my attention. I looked her with fear in my expression. "We need to deploy. As the former 2/3 of team 1 we must protect this village." She had a determined expression look on her face.

"But...it's The six paths of Pain, do we really have a chan.??" I was cut off by Lady Fifth.

"You two are not going anywhere" She stated.

"What are you saying?! We are in a state of emergency!" Shanel screamed.

"I'm not losing another person, especially you!" She stomped her foot.
