Chapter 11: Naruto's training part 2

***a few days later***
Leslie POV

I sat along with Captain Yamato to watch Naruto train. Today he had to cut the waterfall in half. I didn't really get what that meant exactly but it must of been another way to train your Kekkei Genkai.

"Naruto, take a break." Kakashi-Sensei ordered. Naruto didn't stop though.

"I need to get this perfected so that I can be an equal to Sasuke!" He pleaded. Kakashi-Sensei sighed. Captain Yamato looked like he was going to pass out.

"You don't get it, you may have a large amount of Chakra but Yamato..." everyone faced towards Yamato who now looked extremely drained. With that Naruto took a break.

"Hey Leslie can you give me advice on how to control it better? I went to Asuma-Sensei yesterday and he was in another level!" Naruto explains. Wait did he forget what happened...?

I nodded my head. "Well you see you have to make it so it's smooth in its own way, not trying to make it so that your chakra is rough and crazy." I tried to explain he looked confused. Before I could finish my sentence a messenger bird came by me. "Sand village?"

I opened up the paper.

"Shanel is staying in the Sand village for an extra day." I looked at that paper surprised.  "Kinda expected that though."

"Why is that?" Captain Yamato asked. I just snickered and shook my head.

"Oh no reason." I smiled.

~~~afternoon~~~

I couldn't believe my eyes as I saw Naruto split the water fall in half. No one could master Kekkei Genkai that easily.

"Impressive."  Captain Yamato said. I nodded my head in agreement.

"Did you guys see that?" Naruto came down towards us. We all congratulated him. But soon he started to pass out. This time both Kakashi-Sensei and I caught him.

We heard someone approach us. It was a Leaf Anbu unit member. He whispered something to Kakashi-Sensei which made him freeze up.

"We have to go back to the village." He ordered.

"Why!?" We still have time to train till night..." Naruto was caught off my Kakashi-Sensei.

"Asuma-Sensei is dead." I felt a jolt of shock run through me. Memories of my own sensei lying dead on ground spread through my mind. I heard the screams, the agony, the pain the tears.... I felt my vision go blurry for a moment until I passed out.

There was a light. A voice. It was reaching out to me. Around me was dark and I was surrounded by water at my ankles.

"Child, come here." I heard a powerful voice. I turned around to see a man sitting crisscross and his eyes were closed.

"Uh... who are you?" I asked. He didn't reply. Just looked at me.

"You, along with all your friends will help save the world. Well that's what my brother believes." He chuckled. I looked at him confused.

"Why won't you open your eyes?" I asked him.

"If you saw my eyes you will know exactly who I am and it is not time for you to know yet." He smiled.

"Time for what?" Before he could reply I started to fade away. He smiled and waved at me.

"Until the time comes l, I hope we meet again."

~~~Konoha Hospital~~~

"Leslie you're awake." Kakashi Sensei And Naruto looked at me.

"How Long was I out?" I asked, I felt a pain in my head. I was panting and felt cold sweat everyone on my body.

"Like an entire day and a half." Sakura walked into the room. She looked at me concerned.

"Are you okay?" Naruto asked me looking concerned. I nodded my head.

"I had a dream, well maybe it was real, I'm not sure..." before I could explain Lady Tsunade walked into the room.

"All if you need to get dressed for the funeral." She ordered. I processed what she said and remembered that Asuma-Sensei...

"What about Shanel are we gonna wait for her?" I asked. Lady fifth shook her head.

"She told me to go on ahead, she's cant make it in time because she's in the sand village." Lady Tsunade looked at me.

The funeral was very quick, time seemed to have passed by quickly. Shikamaru never showed up and Ini and Choji had tears streaming down their faces. Based on the report Asuma-Sensei was killed by an Akatsuki member. The Akatsuki... a group who wanted to target the Jinchuriki. Asuma-Sensei was only doing his job...but... Kakashi-Sensei handed me a tissue. I hadn't realized that I started crying.

"Thank you."

It was later in the afternoon when Naruto started training again. Kakashi-Sensei, Captain Yamato, and Naruto were even more determined to get the new move down if it was even possible.

An Anbu shinobi appeared next to Kakashi and whispered something in his ear.

"It looks like I'm going to be going on a mission with Ino-Shika-cho group."He scratched his head. "Naruto continue with Captain Yamato, I'll be back."

"Wait, Kakashi-Sensei, is it okay if I go with you?" I asked randomly. He looked at me confused but sighed.

"Fine by me. I'll let Lady fifth know." He disappeared quickly. I don't know why but I didn't want to stay with Naruto after that happened. I waved goodbye and parted ways with them.

At the gates of the leaf village, I was waiting with Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji who looked extremely upset but determined.

"Leslie you're coming with us?" Choji asked while eating his chips.

"Yup."

"Where's Shanel?" Shikamaru asked confused.

"She's at the sand village." I replied to him.

"Why?" He asked looking more curious. I shook my head.

"I think that's confidential." I looked away and sighed. "Where's Kakashi-Sensei?" I felt a bit irritated because he was taking his time. I felt an elbow bumping my arm. I looked at Ino who looked like she really wanted to say something.

"So like did you confess to Naruto?" She whispered while trying not to laugh. I just frowned at her and nodded my head.

"I guess it didn't turn it the way you wanted it to?" She questioned. I nodded my head. "I mean I guess you can find someone better am I right?" I just sighed really loudly.

"Sorry Leslie!" Ino clapped her hands together.

"Yo." Kakashi-Sensei appeared in front of the four of us. I gave him stink eye.

"You're late!" I whined a bit. He laughed and apologized.

"Sorry sorry" he laughed nervously.

"Let's go." Shikamaru ordered. "I'll explain the plan on the way." He looked really determined.
