Shikamaru POVWe finally made it to the gate of the Leaf Village after defeating Hidan and Kakuzu. Most of us were silent except for Naruto who was still boasting about how amazing his wind shuriken Rasengan. Too bad that I didn't get to see it. Jeez that guy is always getting stronger and stronger.
I looked over at Shanel and Leslie where it seemed like Leslie was trying to talk to her about random things but Shanel wasn't listening. She looked like she was staring blankly and just so out of it. I don't know if it was because of Sai or not but she didn't look too good at that moment. I sighed. What a drag.
"Kakashi-Sensei, Are you going to be coming with us to eat BBQ too?" Sakura asked him.
"I think I'll pass I might get some rest. I overused too much of my chakra." He explained with a somewhat apologetic look.
"I think you should get as much rest as possible." I added in. "And...thank you. All of you." I said to everyone. They looked at me with smiles on their faces.
"I think I'll pass too. I haven't slept much since like almost a whole day ago." Shanel looked blankly at me. She looked extremely tired and I knew that she could collapse anytime. "Kakashi-Sensei, I'll take you to the hospital if you want." She motioned for him to grab onto her for support walking.
"Haha, Thank you." Kakashi-Sensei gave her an apologetic look. "I guess we'll see you guys later. The two disappeared with a poof. I assumed that Shanel used one of her tricks to disappear as quickly as possible.
"Let's go guys, I'm hungry!" Choji charged ahead of us towards the BBQ place. I sighed again.
"Shikamaru stop sighing, you're like an old man." Ino punched me in the arm. Ow. I rubbed my arm and followed everyone to the BBQ place.

Shanel POV"Kakashi-Sensei I see you used your Mangekyo Sharingan again." I sighed a bit. "Why do you use it if it's only going to tire you out?"
"I think it's important to cherish a eye that was given to me by a friend. And...if I use to protect comrades, then does it matter?" He states and then smiled at me. His words struck a cord to me, just as Gaara did. Comrades, Comrades...the bonds you have with them? What did it all mean?
"Shanel I think you should really reevaluate yourself. Allow the teamwork and bonds help you move forward with your life" He continued. "It's not worth it to feel so much sadness and pain and then making yourself suffer everyday. And of course, I get it. I was in Anbu once for the same reason too." He smiled at me. His words surprised me. Before I knew it, we were in front of Konoha Hospital. "I got it from here Shanel, thanks." He raised his hand and went inside the hospital.
"No, Thank you." I smiled feeling myself starting to change little by little.

Leslie POV
We finally made it to the BBQ place and the first thing I wanted was WATER.
"Hello again Choji, how many people?" The store owner asked Choji with a sweet and caring voice.
"Well there's, Shikamaru, Ino, Leslie, Sakura, and Sai, Naruto and of course myself, so 7 people." He smiled and counted each of us.
"Oh...no Shanel again?" The owner asked. Choji shook his head.
"She has some stuff she has to do." I spoke up. The owner didn't ask anymore questions.
We started grilling our beef and chicken and everyone wanted some WATER. I could understand though, we were tired, hungry, and just wanted to relax and have a cup of ice cold water.
