Chapter 3: ATTACK On the SAND!

Leslie POV

Our room fell silent after that conversation. I continued to roll up a scroll that helped me use the summoning jutsu.

"Did you learn the summoning jutsu..." Shanel was cut off by a huge explosion sound outside our window. We rushed towards the window.

"Is that?!" I shouted.

"Don't just stand there we need to get to the roof, now!" Shanel yelled we started to run towards the roof. Once we arrived we saw a strange man on a weird looking flying creature.

"Who is that? And is Gaara fighting?!" I started to panic.

"Kankuro, can you stay with Leslie?" Shanel asked. I didn't even realize Kankuro was on the roof. "Where's Temari?" Shanel followed up.

"She left for the leaf village after the elder meeting." Kankuro was intensely looking towards the sky where Gaara was at. "And what are you gonna do, you can't just fly up there." Kankuro looked at Shanel confused. I saw Shanel smirk.

"Leslie you're a medic ninja, heal anyone that's hurt." She bit her finger and started to do some signs. Wait the summoning jutsu?!

"Wait summoning jutsu?" Before I could even ask she slammed the floor.

"Summoning jutsu!" She shouted. In front of Kankuro and I was a red dragon. "Now I can fly. Leslie don't forget!" She flew off towards Gaara and the man.

"She keeps ordering me around..." I shook my head. Kankuro put an arm on my shoulder.

"You know what to do?" He asked me. I nodded my head. I started to look around to see if there was anyone injured but so far thanks to Gaara no one was harmed.

Wouldn't Shanel just get in the way?

Before I could finish my thought I felt a foot kick me hard off the building sending me fly towards the village.

Shanel POV

I started to circle around the the village to see if there was any other person from the Akatsuki. Right when I was going to join Gaara I saw Leslie go flying off into the village. What the hell?

I was going to join her until I saw Gaara being chased by explosives which the man kept throwing one after another at him.

"GAARA!" I shouted.

"Oh another one has joined us" the man laughed "and just to my luck a Konoha shinobi" He smirked.

"Shanel I can handle this, go help Leslie." The young Kazekage ordered me.

"I can't just not help you, they're after you!" I stood my ground. Gaara turned towards me and looked me straight in the eyes.

"Fine, do what you like." He told me.

"Apophis are you ready?" I asked my fiery dragon.

"Any time Shanel." Apophis replied. We charged towards the Akatsuki member. I took out my Katana and slashed through some of the explosive which he was throwing at me.

"You're going have to do more than that." The blonde Akatsuki member shouted. Before I could attack further I heard a terrible scream from the village. I flew back around next to Gaara.

"What was that?" I asked looking a bit concerned towards Gaara.

"It may be your friend Leslie" he paused "You should go help her. If she's facing an Akatsuki member then she's gonna need help, I got it up here" Gaara smirked. I nodded my head and headed towards Leslie.

"Release Apophis." My dragon disappeared and I land right in the middle of the Akatsuki member and Leslie.
