chapter 5~

/READ THIS NOTE PLEASE. I couldent find a way to put what happened n the last two moons in sory so yeah. Its been wo moons sence argument. Eaglekit, breezekit, blazekit and dappledkit are now apprentices. Hollyblossom kitted. Frostblossom is in le nursary with loststars kits. Oakpaw and dewpaw dont talk to each uther. Dewpaw has 1 long scar from the tallclaw, and featherwhisker and darkclaw are now elders/

Chapter 5~

Oakpaws pov ---

"LET ALL CATS OLD ENUF TO CLIMB GATHER BENEATH TALLBRANCH FOR A MEETING"

Loststars call echoed though camp. Warriors came out of there dens and sa beneath. I was sitting by darkclaw and featherwhisker.

"Can we switch spots so i can tell featherwhisker something?"

Darkclaw whispered in my ear. I nodded and switched with him, i triped over his tail and landed on grey and brown fur.

"Watch out birdbrain!"

Dewpaws breathed angrily at me

"sorry...."

I mutterd under my breath. Why did i have to switch with blackclaw? I wish i knew she was over here befor i did.

"leafclan! I have been discussing with twigtail and the senor warriors, we will be using the beartunnle (that tunnle to the river) to attack mistclan"

Yowls of approval followed his words and someone yelled

"its about time!"

I felt a sadness linger from dewpaw. Oh yeah, too her we cant. She still sad for mistclan!

"me, twigtail, wolfclaw, snowblaze, oakpaw, dewpaw, blazepaw and eaglepaw will be in the patroll. The rest of you stay here. My patrol eat if you have not and meet me when i call!"

The clan broke up andi padded to dewpaw.

"to bad huh? Gonna have to fight mistclan, unless your to unloyal to fight and run away?"

I growled at her. She snapped her head around and glared at me

"why do you have to keep bothering me about that lie! I never meet mistclan and i will fight to the death for my clan!"

She hissed back

"oh sure i believe you"

I said sarcastically, her eyes filled with a mixture of sadness, anger, longing and fear. She sighed and looked down. Muttering softly

"whyd we have to spread so far apart.."

i felt like i should have been sorry for her, but anger over whelmed me, its her fault were so apart, shes the one that broke the code. I shoved my face into her face growling

"becouse you were so bird brained!"

I saw surprise light up in her eyes, as if she dident intended on anyone hearing her

Dewpaws pov~

"oh sure i believe you"

Oakpaw said sarcastically. I gave up in showing my anger and looked down sadly. I feared we would never be friends again, but maby that was better.. better to not have a friend so accusing. My heart ached as i rembered when me and oakpaw were just starting to be apprentices, he helped me alot then and we were so close....we grew up to seperate....i longed for the old days when everything seemed great, when i was oakpaws best friend. I sighed and muttered to my self.

"Why'd we have to spread so far aport.."

I must have spoken loader then i thought, becouse oakpaw stoped walking away, and turned, his face inches away from mine.

"because you were so bird brained!"

He snarled and bounded away. I looked down, sadness suronded me. I had to admit it, oakpaw is never coming back. I have to be strong for my clan dont let this pull you down. Sonething inside of me told me to go after him, make this right. No. I told my self and padded to the fresh kill pile. Oakpaw is no more of a blockage for you. It felt like someone raked my heart as i said three words under my breath

"Forget about him"
