chapter 11

/training place description. So its at the edge of flower field, it is surrounded by flowers. Also there are rocks at the right side, two small willows are on the rocks, also rocks coverd in moss. The ground is filled with soft dirt, and at the left side it leads to a bunch of brambles witch are usually used to train at fighting in bramble, also theres a small oak in the middle of the bramble maze thing. They call it the training tree. Also theres a large log that is used to wait on/

Dewblossoms pov~

Breezepaw sat on a waiting log as i explained the ways off good bramble fighting. Sunleaf was helping Deerspeckle collect herbs, and asked me to train breezepaw as he was out.

"okay so in the thicket you want to be low and always keep your muscles relaxed, when there like this you can creep silently and squeeze threw branches. Now you try"

Breezepaw nodded and crouched down, but not to much down. She kept her muscles relaxed and acted like she was walking around branches.

"very good, now i will go in the training brambles you try to find me."

I bounded of into the thicket and jumped quietly threw the branches. I priked my eas as a branch shook to my right, i turned to the right and snuck over. Ill catch her by surprise. But as i was about to step through the branches, and cat jumped on my back from behind.

"got you!"

Breezepaw yowled.

I wiped around Nd looked at her

"bu? Wha? You were over there!"

"I threw a stick and snuck behind you"

"clever, very clever"

breezepaw puffed out her chest in prid

"thanks!"

"okay now lets try that agian, but lets make a game out of it, if i catch you first you have to catch me lunch!"

I mewd playfully

"okay but if i win you cath me lunch! But be warned squirrel is my favorite!"

"well good thing your not going to win, becouse i cant catch squirrel!"

We both laughed

"your on!"

Breezepaw said and bounded off. Ha shes pretty competitive. I stalked off into the bushes, i havent been this happy and playfull since i was an apprentice!

Breezepaw followed me into camp as i carried a squirrel and she carried two mice. We did three roungs of the game and she won them all! She may not be the strongest but shes quick and sneaky. Breezepaw dropped her prey on the freshkill pile, and i dropped the squirrel at herpaws

"your prey young majesty"

I said playfully and she laughed, but the laugh was cut off as cottonpelt ran into the middle of camp.

"FROSTKITS MISSING! SHES NOTE IN CAMP!"

I pounced to my paws, and loststar bounded out of his den.

"WOLFCLAW! OAKWING! SUNLEAF!AND BLAZEPAW! YOUR WITH ME ON THE SEARCH PATROL!"

I ran over to him

"what abour me!?!"

"You stay here and help brakendust comfer cottonpelt, she seems worried sick"

Before i could reply loststar bounded away, and the patrol followed.

Loststars pov~ /heheh yeah/

I sniffed the air and picked up frostkits scent.

"THIS WAY!"

I called to the patrol. As we followed her scent, another scent lingered with it

"FOX SCENT!"

Wolfclaw called

"FROSTKITS PROBLY IN TROUBLE FASTER!"

We bounded faster and i jumped over brambles, and i found myself at moonrocks. Two large slabs of rock thay reflected moon light. And at the end was a cliff that lead to the freezing river of mistclan. Close to the edge i saw ginger fur pawing at a crake in the rock.

"FROSTKIT!"

i howled and lunged forward, the patrol followed and we attacked the single fox. The fox was out numberd, it yowled and another fox bounded out. We were narrowed down, but we kept fighting. I powerfull paw knocked me to the side and i saw it. A third fox snuck up to ware greyfur was crawling out of a crake in the rocks. Frostkit! I lunged under the foxes and through my self at the third fox. Frostkit yelped as i pushed the fox away. The fox got back up and i growled at it.

"frostkit stay behind me!"

The fox lunged forward and tried to grab my neck but i balances on my hind legs and swiped my goodpaw forward. The fox fell back, and i realized i was close to the edge. Frostkit was still behind me as i held the fox down, its head almost off the edge of the cliff. I turned and saw that the patrol was out numbering the foxes. One of the foxes ran into the bushes retreating, but then i saw it waiting close by in different brambles, it wants to strike me! As the other fox ran off my warriors started to run tords me.

"STOP!"

i yowled at them, they stoped in confusion and i looked down at frostkit.

"i do care for you frostkit, and i will always love you. Me and frostblossom will be looking down on you from starclan"

She looked up at me in confusion. I piked her up in my jaws as the two foxes ran out agian, charging for me. As they got close my warriors tried to run but i threw frostkit tords them.

'STAY BACK! TAKE FROSTKIT BACK TO CAMP!"

I let go off the third fox and jumped back, all three foxes were in front of me snarling. I ramed forward with all my might.

Tje ground beneath me crumbled away, and i fell forward with all three foxes.

"LOSTSTAR!"

my clanmates called. I came closer to the water and i looked to the sky, i would always give my last life for you frostkit. I hit the water and everything went dark around me.
