i sat with little moss chunks on my paws, i just changed mine and breezeflowers bedding, i cant wait for her to get back from patrolling. i walked to a small patch of sunlight at the edge of camp, i yawned and stretched. i laid down and closed my eyes. the sun felt warm on my pelt and i fell into sleep.
"get her to the nursery!"
Deerspeckles mew woke me. i shot up and looked around camp, a cream and white she cat was being herded to the nursery, her stomach full with kits. two other cats sat in the middle of camp surrounded by clanmates. i ran over as twigstar talked.
"our medicine cat is takeing care of cream. now do you too have names?"
the ginger tom stepped forward
" my name is flamepaw-"
flamepaw pointed at the grey tom
"and hes gr- er- fallenteller"
twigstars tail twitched in interest
"you have clan names? are you old clan cats now rouges?"
before flamepaw could talk fallenateller stepped up.
"we are from a clan so hated by all you, we are former duskclan. and i am the cat you all hate, im not fallenteller, im duskclans old medicine cat-"
gasp followed his words and cats spat in anger and hatred. twigstar stood and spoke in harsh words.
"so your greyleaf then"
he snarled.
" i will not accept duskclan scum, especially you!"
he snarled at greyleaf, the clan hissed and i un shealthed my claws, iv heard the storys of duskclan and greyleaf. i tensed my muscles and greyleaf stood, his eyes sparking with almost a dareing look.
"then leafclan kill me now! take your anger out on me, let my soul wonder in darkness because starclan obviously wont take me for my so called crimes!"
He snarled. the clan gave low growls and the duskclan cat, Flamepaw, jumped forward
"greyleaf stop! You know the clans believe in lies!"
Twigstar stepped forward
"we will not kill unless nesasery, and what do you mean lies?"
Greyleaf stepped forward
"you all believe the story as duskclans medicine cat forced Violetstar to kill and destroy, that the medicine cat brought rouges to fight the clans, and then in battle ran to watch the clans suffer. But that is all lies! I loved my clan, i stayed loyal as a medicine cat, but Violetstar was an evil hearted she-cat! She hated me because i never exsepted her love. She treated me like dirt and murdered my family. She blamed the murder on me, then she banished me, and brought rouges to the clan! She said i brought them for revenge and forced her to Allie with them to kill the other clans. But she planned that, she blamed it on me so i would be forever in pain and hate for this memory, starclan never knew because they were not looking over me. They believed Violetstar. She died in that battle, but no one killed her, she blamed me then killed her self makeing it look like i did it, she destroyed my clan! and if none of you believe me fine! This story just needs to be heard, so that the lie isent always liveing!"
Greyleafs eyes were filled with old memorys. Twigstar looked at greyleaf.
"I cant believe that story, i was a kit when this war happened, the clan told me what killed my parents. They told me the story of how it happened"
Greyleaf stood
"i dont need you too believe, i just need you to know that story from my veiw, not violetstars"
Twigstar stood and stared at the duskclan cats.
"you will leave when your friend cream has kitted and is well to leave"
Deerspeckle walked out of the nursery
"twigstar, cream kitted two kits but.... she had green cough, she died kitting, her kits will die if no cat can watch over them"
Cottonpelt stepped forward
"i can watch over them, my kits may have died but i still have milk to spare. Twigstar they may be part duskclan but they never knew that clan, and we cant leave kits to die."
Twigstar turned and looked at flamepaw and greyleaf.
"you can stay till the kits are apprentice edged, then you will leave and never come back"
The cats nodded and the camp broke up talking in groups. I padded to breezeflower, who was sitting alone.
"what do you think of these cats?"
i asked her.
"well... i never meet a duskclan cat, but iv heard story's, i dont know if there good are not. but i believe both good and bad story's. what do you think?"
she said
"i think there un trust worthy, iv heard the story's, greyleaf is probably just trying to hide the truth!"
breezeflower looked away, then padded to ware Dewblossom sat. i sighed, breezeflower why do you have to be so incident all the time?
