You and Lexi were helping Mariana into her dress. Callie was with you, but she sat on the counter and watched.
"You look like a princess!" Lexi said.
"I fell like I'm gonna throw up. What if its no fun? What if I fall on my face?" Mariana said.
"Thats not gonna happen. You look amazing, and you've been practicing those heels for weeks." You assured your sister.
"Your sisters right Mariana. You're gonna be amazing." Lexi walked back to grab something, you and Mariana saw her pull out a present.
"What is that?" Mariana grinned.
"Your birthday present." Lexi said, handing her the gift. "I wanted you to open it first."
You decided to stand back a little, over by Callie, they were having a Bestfriend moment.
It was a collage of pictures of Mariana, and some of the two of them.
"Aww, you did this all yourself?" Mariana asked. Lexi nodded.
"Where'd you get that picture?"
"Your moms gave it to me." Lexi answered.
"I love that dress!" Mariana gasped.
"She was new to our school, and she wore a princess dress everyday for like a month." Lexi explained to Callie.
"I remember that." You chuckled.
"I was obsessed with Belle!" She said.
"One day she fell on the ground and ripped it."
"Oh yeah, that was the day you came home crying, and moms promised to buy you a new one." You said.
"Never mind the fact her knee was all bloody." Lexi added.
"I was humiliated. Everyone in our class laughed at me, except for Lexi. She took me to the nurses office. You were my first friend."
"And Bestfriend." Lexi added
"Thank you. I love you." Mariana told her Bestfriend.
They hugged. "I love you." Lexi said.
All this was sweet, but you couldn't get it out of your head. Lexi is lying to Mariana. You're not sure if her and Jesus are still a thing or not, but either way it would be lying.
There was knocking at the door.
"Can I interrupt?" Momma peeked her head through the door. She walked over to Mariana, gift in hand.
"I'm gonna get everyone gathered." Lexi said.
"I'll go with you." You followed.
"Me too." Callie hopped off the counter.
About 10-15 minutes later, everyone in the court was supposed to meet together.
"Honey, did you find Lexi." Mom asked Mariana as she came back from looking.
"Nope!" Mariana sounded pissed.
"Everything all right?"
"I'm fine." She said.
"Have you seen Lexi?" Momma asked Jesus as he came around the corner.
"No." He quickly responded.
"Sorry, I was in the bathroom." Lexi said finally getting here.
"You're going to the bathroom a lot lately. Maybe you have a bladder infection." Mariana was definitely pissed, and now you know it's at Lexi.
"Mariana?" Mom said.
