'I recognized all the doctors and nurses. I hated them. I felt everything now. The uncomfortable paper gown. The stupid IV fluids and sheets. The heart monitor pinching my finger.

"Lily...," I said, "I still... remember her."

"You're alright," a Doctor said," you've been in a coma for about two months. You're body need time a therapy before you can go anywhere. We've called your parents. They're gonna be so happy to see you Maxine."

"What No! Why did...," I pulled out the IV's and pushed everyone away, "Stay back."

I was shaking, damn it why did I have to be so stupid. They could've  just let my body rot slowly but no. I steadied myself on the bed.

"Calm down Maxien. We're just going to make sure you're okay," another doctor said, "why don't you just sit down and we'll give you a little check up. We'll also have to bandage you arms. You really shouldn't pull out your IV's like that."

"Why do you think I care what happens to me? I want to die," I said as I climbed off the bed.'

I woke up in Lily's bed, she was calling me.

"Maxie are you okay? You were asleep in a cold sweat," Lily's face was over mine.

"Am i...," I sat up and examined my body, "Alive?"

"No silly," Lily hugged me, "Still cold dead."

"So the hospital, mom and dad," I said to myself, "It was a dream."

"There's no school today anything you want to do?"

"Lily...," Lily was still in her night gown, "Let's go on a date."
