"Really! You mean it!" Lily was so excited.

"Yeah," I smiled, "I think it's about time. Where do you think we should go?"

"Ooh let's go to the movies. Then we can split an ice cream and watch the sunset. I'm gonna get ready, don't look okay," Lily sat on her rolling chair and pushed herself to her dresser.

"Okay, I'll wait outside," I left her to change.

I waited downstairs for Lily. Her sister Aura was painting the fireplace. She was covered head to toe in paint. I wonder if I can change my clothes? I look at the blue shirt and black shorts I had on.

"Maybe I can wear something?" I asked myself.

"I don't think an entity of ectoplasm will have high chances in wearing clothing," Aura said.

"Oh right," I was a little started, I forgot she can see me too, "Hey you can really see me right?"

"Yes I can," She continued painting.

"So how come you Dad can't?" I asked.

"We inherited it from mom," Aura explained, "I've told her about you. She's excited to meet you."

"Oh is she now?" I had a nervous laugh, "Does your dad know?"

"He knows, but he doesn't really believe it," Aura stretched, "Mom's the only one who can temporarily give him the ability to see like us. He'll meet you when she gets back from her trip."

"Alright then," I checked to see if Lily was there, "Still changing huh."

"You could try using you imagination," Aura said.

"What?" I didn't get it.

"To change you clothes," Aura said, "If you imagine what you want and concentrate you might change your clothes."

  I tried Aura's idea, nothing.

"Guess it was too simple to be true," Aura laughed.

"Maxie I'm ready," Lily said from behind me.

She had on a frilly black dress instead of her black shirt and leggings. Her hair was up with a blue flower clip.

"What do you think?" She asked me.

My cheeks felt warm, "Y-you look really nice."

"You think so? I'm glad," Lily started towards the door, "Come on let's go."

"Have fun you too," Aura shouted as I closed the door.

I made sure to stay at Lily's pace so she wouldn't get tired as soon. Lily tended to rush to the next thing all day, For a girl with crutches she sure is fast. We watch a romantic movie, which I wasn't a fan of, first. I hung out with Lily while she ate lunch and had ice cream. We watched the sun go down in a park nearby. Lily's eyes were sparkling the whole time. I liked to see her so happy. After the date Lily had dinner and took a bath. I waited for her in her room.

"Lily wants you in the bathroom," Aura poked her head in the door.

"Oh alright," I got up and went down stairs.

I knocked on the bathroom down and Lily called for me to come in.

"Did you forget your towel again?" I asked.

"That and I need a little help," Lily pointed to the overflowing water, "I can't reach the handle."

"Oh," I turned the water off, "There anything else?"

"Could you sit in the water with me? I feel lonely," Lily was blushing and looking down at the bubbles.

"Oh... u-um," I knew I was red in the face, "a-are you sure a-about that?"

"Yeah," Lily scooted over.

I sat down next to Lily. I felt a little strange sitting next to her. Is she planning something or what? I thought, Maybe she wants a romantic bath like in the movie we saw.

"Maxie," Lily was movie ing the water, I turned my head so I didn't see, "I never thought you'd be the shy type."

"..."

"Does it make you nervous?"

"W-what do you mean?"

"Being in the bath with me. You've seen me in a bath when ever I've forgotten my towel what's different here?"

"I-'m actually in the water with you."

"Don't worry I'm just messing with you. I'm gonna get dressed now," lily got out of the bath and left, "You clean yourself up."

"Can I even do that?" I got up, my clothes were wet as well as my skin, "What the heck is going on?"

I poured out some shampoo, it landed on my hand. No phasing through or mixing in the water, it was there on my hand. It felt cold and creamy, I can feel it. Come to thing of it I can feel the heat of the bath too.

I lifted my shirt, It came off. Then again it is clothing, It fell on the floor and didn't phase through. I removed the rest of my wet clothes and looked in the mirror. I could see my reflection! What's going on? How am I suddenly solid? I thought. I washed myself and wrapped a towel around me. I checked to see if Lily's dad was around. He wasn't. I made my way upstairs and hid in Lily's room. She was watching a show.

"You're back," Lily looked at me, "Are you solid? I've never seen you able to change before. Not to mention you're soaked."

"Lily I don't know what's going on. On minute I'm a form of ectoplasm the next I feel like I have a human body again," I leaned against the door, "Do you have any idea what's going on?"

"I'm not sure. I read once that ghost can let people see then o their own will. Maybe it had to do with that," Lily held my hand, "Wow it's like really skin, but you're still cold."

"I feel cold," I said.

"Here I'll see if I have any pjs that'll fit you," Lily rolled her chair to her dresser and rummaged through her drawers.

I wound up sleeping in a t shirt. I haven't been solid for about a month now. I forgot what it's like to feel. I looked at lily who was sound asleep, and warm. I like being able to feel Lily's warm hands.
