"And then this woman with a huge chest was hitting on me and her sister came in and she was even hotter-" Lavi began chattering.
You couldn't help but tune the lewd talk out because all it did was piss you off.
You were on a train ride to an area in Germany that was infested with Akuma and all he could do was spout on about women he seemed to like more than you.
Did he ever talk about you that way you wondered?
"(Y/n), are you even listening?" Lavi asked.
You glared at him. "Sure, whatever Lavi," you grumbled.
He seemed hurt, but his talk came to a halt and that gave you some time to think about how he reacted. Didn't he normally continue to go on after a response like that?
The train kept bumping along the tracks and Lavi watched out the windows, His green eye scanning the scenery as it rolled by.
"I was wondering when you were going to get jealous," he finally said.
"What do you mean?" You asked.
"I'm a book man in training. Do you really think you could hide your crush on me? That I wouldn't notice?"
You blushed and suddenly became flustered, even frustrated with him. "If you knew that then why do you keep telling me about every other girl you like? Why can't you just tell me you don't like me?" Your eyes were tearing up a bit.
He frowned. "Huh? You think I don't like you?"
"You're a book man, you tell me smarty!"
"Whoa, I never said I didn't like you."
"What?"
Lavi smiled and adjusted his bandana holding his red hair up before scratching his neck. "I actually really like you, a lot. You're one of my favorite girls I have ever met. Do you remember that one time we pranked Allen with that cake and had Lenalee jump out of it?" He asked. He was trying to make you the subject is his stories he usually told on the train about other girls.
You grinned. "Yeah I remember that."
"I don't think I can forget any of your smiles, but that one was so memorable. You stroked your beautiful (hair color) hair from your face and made that laugh I love so much... I remember this one time when we had to train together and Kanda was having a contest to see who could beat their sparring partner the fastest and you kicked the living daylights out of me. I never expected that out of you at first, but now I can see you're a strong and intelligent woman."
"Lavi..."
"Do you remember that other time when-"
You cut him off with a quick kiss and then smiled with a bright blush dusting your cheeks.
He stared in shock before he seemed to have hearts in his eyes and he yelled "Strike!" Loudly enough for the whole train to hear.
You never thought he'd say that to you strangely enough, you'd only heard him say it when he saw other girls but it was a welcome surprise.
"So, are we done talking about other girls now?" You asked him jokingly.
"All I want to talk about is you and how amazing that was!"
"Well come and get another one you fiery rabbit!"
Lavi didn't hesitate, and after your second kiss he held your hand and snuggled up to you for the rest of the train ride.
