You decided today you would take Lenalee's place in handing out coffee to the science division since she wasn't feeling well and had prepared a tray of the steaming life savers and headed towards the entrance when the tray was suddenly pushed into you and hot coffee spilled on to your bosom.

You cried out as you were singed and turned angrily to whomever had done this to you when you spotted Allen Walker running away with... Cat ears and a tail?

You sprinted after him in fury while some of the scientists came out of the division and began yelling.

"Get him back here!" Johnny exclaimed. "Get him!"

"Whoo! (Y/n), you're fast!" Reever said.

Allen glanced back and caught sight of you, HISSED at you and tried to escape before he slammed into Kanda who pushed him into you.

You grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and dragged him back towards the science division while Kanda grumbled away. "Furry walker," you heard until you were too far away to listen to his grumblings.

"What is the meaning of this?" You asked, motioning to Allen who was struggling to get out of your grip.

"Ah, come on (y/n), I don't wanna go back in there! Look at what they've already done!" Allen whined.

You motioned to your shirt that was covered in coffee. "I want answers. He spilled your coffee on me and I won't get you anymore unless you tell me what the hell is going on with this cat thing he's become!"

"Don't be so cruel! I'll tell you everything!" Johnny said quickly. "So you see, we thought we could give Allen some cat like reflexes To give him an advantage in combat," he began.

"But he actually just turned into a cat instead, we want to try and fix that," Reever finished.

"Wait, you want to turn me back? Please do! I don't want to be a cat!" Allen said.

A thought came into your mind and you grinned wickedly. "Wait a second... I think Allen can actually benefit from being in the state he's in. Can you hold off on the cure for him?" You asked, giving them a little wink and motioning to the coffee spilt on you again as blackmail. This was how you were going to get even with him for spilling coffee on you.

Reever and Johnny nodded quickly. "Of course!"

Allen stared at all of you in disbelief. "What?! How could you guys do this to me?"

You rubbed his head with a smile. "You shouldn't have spilled coffee on me, silly walker. Come on, let's go find you some catnip," you joked.

He purred under your touch and his ear twitched at the mention of cat nip. "Cat nip?"

You looked at the scientists before you. "Actually, you guys could make Allen some catnip, that'd be interesting."

They shrugged. "We'll give it a shot," Reever said.

-

"Here you are," Johnny said. In turn, you handed him a coffee as he gave you the bag of catnip and he grinned. "Thanks!"

"You're welcome. Now, try this Allen, you might like it," you said, opening the bag.

Allen sniffed it curiously and shrugged before lapping some of it up.

You watched his pupils grow from normal to extremely large before he looked up at you with a large grin.

"Oh my God, that's amazing!" He exclaimed, then hugged you tightly to him and chuckled. "I feel so awesome! I can't even explain it!"

You blushed, your heart pounding at his closeness until he separated from you and darted this way and that, extremely energized from the treat you'd given him.

You watched him for awhile and giggled until he pounced on you and licked your cheek suddenly and then curled up on top of you, purring. "You're the best (y/n)," he murmured, before deciding to take a cat nap, as some cats do when they eat cat nip.

Unable to muster the willpower to remove him from you, you pet his head and grinned. You always did like Walker, and maybe this whole cat thing brought you two closer overall anyway.

~Extended ending~

Reever creeped into the room and saw Allen curled up on top of (Y/n) and raised an eyebrow. "Um, I brought the antidote," he said.

"Come back later," you hissed. "Now's not the time!"

Reever shrugged and left the bottle filled with green liquid at the door before leaving to the laboratory to tell everyone what he'd seen.
