Edward's POV

An hour, just an hour more and I will have her in my arms. My world, my Bella would be back to me in just an hour and I promise, I promise to never ever leave her alone. I would hold on to her forever, never even letting her feet touch the ground if necessary. I would do everything for her, just after finishing that mutt once and forever.

The smile never left my lips since I heard the news, it was too good to be true. I felt a strange warmth in my cold body, it came from inside me, inside my stoned heart, and the light that came with it brightened everything in me, around me. Suddenly the world didn't feel like such a bad place anymore, because I knew my Bella was around somewhere and soon I was going to meet her, kiss her, hug her, scold her and protect her.

Jacob's POV

"BELLA!" I screamed once again. In my brain I knew she was gone but in my heart I still believed that she was here somewhere.

In my worst of fears I never expected things to turn out this way, I never expected her to run away. I knew she was dying to see Edward, but I didn't know she was so desperate to make a run for it, in the middle of a forest, I thought she trusted me, trusted me enough to believe that whatever I was doing was for her own good. But then again that monster had penetrated so deep in her mind, that she lost her rational thinking and ran away for him.

"Bella I am coming for you " I thought, but how? A question popped from inside my mind, how was I supposed to find her in this stupid human form, after that emotional leakage he could not turn into his wolf form.

It had been hours since nightfall and still no sign of her. I checked my watch it was 3 in the morning and I decided to head for her, in this pathetic form.

Bella's POV

It was 3 am, I checked my watch, it was still too dark to actually go anywhere, so I waited for another hour to start moving. I rarely did sleep that night, the occasional rustling of the leaves woke me up, sometime at midnight I even heard something like footsteps but I was not sure. Today I had to find a way out of this forest. My food and water supplies were almost out and today I had to find a human dwelling in order to survive.

I jumped steadily of the branch trying not to disturb the uncomforting silence around me. It was almost 5 now and the sun had started to rise.

I chose a random direction just praying to God that I wasn't moving towards that old shack.

Soon the birds started to chirp and it wasn't so cold any more. As the first sun rays hit me I realised I was shivering madly, and probably for the whole night because as soon as I stopped my hands and leg begin to hurt painfully.

After about what felt like a mile, I reached a stream and a small wow escaped my mouth, because the sight before me was dazzling. Hundreds of rein deer's surrounded me, all of them so beautiful, quenching their thirsts, I smiled and touched one of it. It greeted me with a small bow. I touched it's back and the soft fur gently kissed my palm.

I was so engulfed in the bliss that I didn't realise an eerie silence had settled over the place, all the dears were looking in the direction, behind the trees from where I came from. The small deer's started slowly retreating to their mothers and each and every one of them was still and looking in the same direction.

I even stared in the direction, not seeing anything, but after a while eight creatures walking on all fours emerged out, and they were nothing less than eight full size bears who looked hungry and ready to attack.

The thing that ran in my mind was.
