Bella's POV
Everything around me started moving very rapidly, each and every one of the deer ran through the stream towards the other side. I paced along trying to match their speed.
A loud painful scream at the back told me that the bear's had caught up. I ran as fast as my week legs could take me, pretending to be the part of the herd of those desperate animals but soon the world around me started turning and twisting around until I had to stop to catch my breath. I looked back and the bear were feeding on the few deer's they had caught, I had to flee from here as fast as I can but my feet had given up.
One of the animal saw me, the fear in my eyes was even visible to him because he approached me slowly. It was still at enough distance for me to make a run away from it.
I got up as fast I can and started running, but it came out more as a desperate skipping, I looked back and surely they were behind and had started closing on the distance, I ran faster too scared for my life. I could not die now, I was so close to seeing Edward and could not die without seeing him for once I shouted for help at the highest pitch I could attain, I shouted again and again. I knew their wasn't a single soul around me to notice my painful shrieks. I had to just run, run untill these weak bones give up. I knew it was my end now, I just knew it, but somewhere in me I didn't wanted to die.
Everything in my life was wrong right now and this was the perfect situation and way to die but the thought of Edward helped me put one foot after the other because if I die I knew he would blame himself for that. I just had a stupid 60 years of life, but he, he had eternity and I could not let my death haunt him for the rest of his life. I had to live to atleast tell him that, everything that happened was not his fault and he didn't need to blame himself or anyone else.
My legs were crying and I knew they were about to give up anytime so I tried climbing the nearest tree and was almost on the top but then the branch I held broke with a loud crack and I fell, and fell until my head hit the ground and the last thing I saw was the bears a few yards away but behind those trees I caught a face, the face I had been crying for this whole time.
It was Edward. He had come.
