The sun rose up as the pitch dark night began to fade away into colors of blues and reds. The birds began to chirp and the people started another day.
Dallon Weekes, a man of about twenty-six, with messy brown hair and blue eyes that seemingly held the ocean in front of him, looked out his window in his small home and smiled. He took in a breath of the salted air from the sea and closed his eyes.
I think I'm ready to go.

"Well, Dallon, I'm not going to keep you any longer. Are you ready to find your fictional creatures, kid?" Ryan Seaman joked and received an almost painful punch from Dallon.
"Shut it! I'm going to prove to everyone that they're real! They have to be!" Dallon argued, getting on his little boat.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever gets you going out of the house. It's been a while since you've been out...you doing okay?" Ryan asked with an obvious concern.
"Still trying to patch things up. Still hurts." Dallon's gaze was now at his shoes before quickly looking out into the ocean. "But it's okay! I've got a whole day ahead of me!"
"Alright, well, you better get move along and I do too, the shop's not going to open itself up, right?" The blue-haired man waved a goodbye and off he went to open his store.
Dallon let the rope go that connect the boat to the docks and off he sailed into the known ocean.
He turned on the engine and the boat went at a constant speed away from the isle. His sight went backwards, seeing the isle getting smaller and his smile getting larger. There's something about seeing more than what you know. The unknown can be scary but at times, it can be exciting and amazing.
Dallon Weekes was in his best mood in a while, he hoped he can stay that way. Maybe he will.
