Dallon didn't know what happened but when he snapped out of his...trance? Dream? He doesn't what he was under, however, when his vision came back to him, his dreams came true.
There was a mermaid..or siren sitting right in front of him. Only problem was the creature looked terrified, Dallon had a knack for telling emotions through the eyes. The sea organism had their arms around themselves and their eyes on Dallon.
"H-hey, I'm not going to hurt you. It's okay." Dallon held his hand out with a small, welcoming smile on his face.
The semi-human slowly reached out for Dallon's hand, their eyes looking at him up and down.
Once they held hands, Dallon felt the cold on their hand. He examined the hand a little bit more. The fingernails and the tips of the fingers were purple and faded into a blue. Scaly was the texture to describe his lower forearm before also fading into human skin.
"S-see? I won't hurt you! I promise." Dallon swore and his hold on the siren was loose before they let go.
"Is it okay if I sketched you?" The sailor asked and the siren looked even more terrified. "Oh, here, let me show you! It's not going to hurt you, I swear."
Dallon turned to get his journal and hoped the siren didn't leave. As he grabbed a pencil and his journal, he wondered where his ukulele went. He could have swore that he put it away. That didn't matter right now.
He turned the back to the rock where the siren laid on and lucky for him, the siren was still there. Only this time, the siren held out his ukulele, looking ashamed.
"Ah, you had it! Well, thank you for returning it." Dallon reached out his hand and the siren spoke.
"p-play?" The siren shyly whispered.
"Play the ukulele? Sure!" He took the instrument and strummed the strings.
"Could this be love at first sight? Or should I walk by again? You're photogenically dressed, the conversation begins..."

to brendon, the sailor sounded hypnotizing. if the sailor thought sirens were masters of persuasion then brendon knew someone who beat them.
the siren couldn't stop watching and hearing the sailor sing. then he stopped after the chorus of the song, this made brendon sad but he didn't want to complain.
"So, can I draw you?" the human spoke up with his strange objects in hand. brendon nodded and wondered what would happen to him.
after an amount of time, the sailor looked up and spoke once more. "See! Look! It's you!" he said, flipping the object so it would face brendon.
brendon took it from his hand and touched the images. they looked just like him except the image of himself isn't shattered into a million pieces like when he looked into a cracked mirror.
"beautiful..." brendon awed, his fingertips lightly touch the pictures.
"Just like you!" when the sailor said that, his whole face seemed to feel hot.
brendon doesn't understand what the heat on his cheeks mean.
he really hoped that the man doesn't notice.
