Your POV
  I swam through the bright blue ocean, passing many more merfolk. I held onto my light brown satchel that sat around my chest. I finally arrived back at my home. I opened the door and put my satchel down on the table. I heard the door close behind me and I opened my brown bag and dumped out the shimmering pearls and seashells. I picked up a black pearl and observed it. It shimmered in the light and I smiled. I put my pearls and seashells on my shelf where more of my collection sat quietly.

"Y/N!!" I heard a male voice yell and a knock at my door. I put my satchel back around my body and opened the door to see my best friend, Keith.

"Sup Keith." I said as I opened the door more, allowing him to swim inside.

"I was wondering if you wanted to come down to the Cove with me and meet some of my friends." Keith said.

"Sure. Sounds fun." I said. Keith smiled and swam out of my small home. I followed his bright red tail until we reached a small cove. I swam next to Keith and he stopped in front of four people.

"Guys. This is Y/N!" Keith said. I smiled shyly and they all smiled.

"Hi! I'm Pidge! It's great to meet you Y/N!" A small girl named Pidge said. She had short, dirty blond hair. She wore a green shell bra and a bright green tail.

"I'm Hunk! I hope we can become friends!" A tallish man named Hunk said. He had hazelnut colored skin and dark brown hair. An orange bandana was wrapped around his forehead and it matched his yellow and orange tail.

"Hello Y/N. I'm Takashi Shirogane, but please, call me Shiro." A muscular man named Shiro said. He had a couple scars running down his chest and a scar on his nose. His hair was short, and represented the Ying Yang colors. He had a pitch black tail and bits of purple all around.

"And I'm Lance." A boy named Lance said swooningly. He grabbed my hand and kissed it lightly. He had light brown skin, and darker brown hair to match. He had the bluest of eyes I've ever seen. His tail was a darker blue color, and I have to say, this boy was so handsome. I blushed and smiled.

"It's great to meet you all." I said, still blushing. Everyone smiled and nodded and we hung out at the cove for awhile.

•A month later•
  Everyday I would go down to the cove to meet up with my friends. It's been a month since I met Keith's friends, and I love them all so. They all have amazing and unique personalities. But of course me being the gay little shit I am I grew a crush on Lance. He's so handsome and nice to me. He's respected me and flirted like a maniac. Everyone knew about my little crush on Lance, except for Lance of course.
  I swam towards the cove and noticed no one was there. I huffed and but shrugged it off a bit. I began to collect some pearls and seashells that I thought would look pretty in my collection. I picked up a blue shell and saw that there was a path of the same colored shells. Curiosity got the best of me and I began to follow the small shells. The path then abruptly stopped in a small clearing.

"Woah." I said to myself as I saw a cave full of gems and beautiful pearls. I swam around and began to collect the prettiest of pearls and gems. I held a light blue crystal in my hand, seeing my reflection in the shiny crystal. I looked closer at the reflection and saw Lance behind me. I turned around and jumped at how close he was to my face.

"L-Lance! H-hey!" I said, regretting I ever opened my mouth. Lance smiled and looked down at me.

"I'm glad you followed my path. Isn't it beautiful here." Lance said as he swam over to the other side of the small cave. I nodded and swam next to him, putting my hand on the cold cave wall.

"Why did you lead me here?" I asked, looking into his blue eyes as he looked into my e/c orbs.

"Because. I wanted to talk to you, alone." He said. I blushed and rubbed my thumb over the crystal that I still held in my hand.

"W-what about?" I asked as Lance moved in closer to my face. He wrapped his muscular arms around my dainty waist. I blushed and looked up at him.

"I like you, a lot Y/N." Lance said. I blushed and exploded on the inside.

"I like you too Lance." I said, still blushing profusely. He smiled and connected our lips together. My eyes widened at the sudden movement the Cuban boy made, but I finally eased into the kiss. His lips fit perfectly into mine, kinda like a puzzle. I dropped the crystal and wrapped my slender hands around his neck. I felt him pull my body closer to him, and he began to deepen the kiss. I felt him rub his tongue against my lower lip. I opened my mouth a bit and felt Lance's tongue race into my wet cavern. I moaned lightly and we pulled away, a string of saliva still attached to our lips. I blushed and hugged him tight. He chuckled and hugged back. We sat there for awhile. Lance would peck my cheek here and there and we hugged and cuddled the day away.
