Lance's POV
I sat in red, sighing as I looked out the front window. The large room in the castle held all the lions.

"Cmon Red. I know I'm not your pilot but Keith isn't flying you anymore. I need you to trust me." I whispered to the lion. I heard a huff from what sounded like a female voice. I turned around in my seat quickly to see a short girl. She had long brown hair and skin like mine. Her skin was littered with freckles. Her eyes were an ocean blue color and she wore a short blue dress with lace towards the top and bottoms. She put her hands on her hips, staring at me dead in the face.

"Uh hi?" I said nervously.

"So you pilot the Red Lion now?" The small girl said. Her voice was high pitched, but totally serious.

"Well yeah I guess? How do you know about the lions!?" I asked, standing up. She rolled her eyes and looked up at me. She was a lot shorter than I was.

"Because I am the blue lion. Well spirit of it." She said, crossing her arms against her chest.

"Wait. So you're telling me that whole thing Hunk and Pidge were talking about was true?" I said. She nodded and left the lion. I chased after her and grabbed her arm. She became see through, only being a blue aura.

"I'm Y/N." She said, growling it a bit at the end.

"I'm Lance." I said, raising an eyebrow at her and smirking.

"I know." She said coldly. I sighed, letting go of her.

"A-are you mad at me or something?" I asked. She turned back into her full form and looked up at me.

"Just because stupid Keith doesn't drive the red lion anymore doesn't mean you had to leave me." She growled.

"Blue.. I'm so sorry. I-i didn't know you felt like that." I said. She sighed and looked away from me.

"Yeah. I do." She said harshly. I sighed and watched as she soon disappeared. I took a deep breath and ran to find Allura.

"Allura!" I yelled, finding her in the hallway with Pidge.

"Yes Lance?" She said, smiling up at me.

"I need to know more about the essence of the girls in the lions. Particularly the blue lion." I said quickly. Pidge smirked, looking up at Allura.

"Sure Lance. Y/N is the essence of the blue lion. She is very much like you, bubbly, fun, and loves the ocean. But every since the whole lion switch she's been very quiet. She only talks me and it's always about you." Allura said. I huffed, running my hand through my hair.

"Do you think there's anyway I could get her to trust me again? Shiro is back and he's probably going to want the black lion back. And Keith is very close to the red lion. I want the blue lion back." I said. Allura slowly nodded.

"Alright Lance. She's all yours." Allura said. I smiled, hugging Allura tightly.

"Thank you Thank you!" I yelled, running to my room. I got out the best clothes I had and the nicest cologne and put it all out for tomorrow.

•The Next Day•

  I woke up very early. I put on my clean dress shirt and my bow tie. I sprayed on my cologne and ran my hand through my hair. I sprayed some breath spray in my mouth and ran down to the lions. I climbed into the blue lion and sat at the controls.

"Alright Y/N. I know how much you must hate me for leaving. I'm sorry. I didn't know you were real until yesterday. I want you to trust me again." I whispered, closing my eyes as I put my hands on the controls.

"What makes you think I can trust you again?" I heard Y/N growl in my head.

"Because you're an amazing person and you deserve to know I'm not going to go anywhere anymore." I said. I heard light footsteps behind me. I spun around and there was Y/N. She didn't look at me, just at the ground. I got up and stood in front of her.

"I'm so sorry Y/N. I don't want you feeling like this anymore, I'm here ok?" I said. She looked up at me and smiled, making my whole world shift. I swear I felt a click in my head, like we were the only two on this planet. She was radiating such a powerful glow and I knew for a fact there was no way I could let myself loose her. I hugged her tightly and I felt her hug back. We pulled away and she smiled brightly. I must have turned bright red or something because she blushed also.

"Your cologne smells nice." She said, giggling. I put my hand nervously on my neck.

"T-thanks." I said. She pecked my cheek then quickly disappeared. I heard her giggling in my head. I shook my head and smiled, leaving the lion.

•3 Days Later•

"LETS GO PALADINS." Allura yelled over the intercom. I rushed to my lion to see Y/N sitting on the top. I smiled and nodded. She turned into her aura form and flew into the lion. I jumped into my seat and smiled.

"Let's go señorita~" I said to Y/N. I could just see her bright red face in my head. I smiled and we flew off into the battle. I shot my ice and water at as many Galran ships I could. I grabbed a galra ship in the mouth of the lion and threw it to Hunk, who kicked it into space. It blew up and I smiled.

"Nice one Hunk!" I yelled.

"You too over there Sharpshooter." He said. I smiled and we kept fighting.

After the battle we all landed, making sure everyone on the planet got the resources and help they all needed. I smiled, putting my hands on my hips. I felt two small arms wrap around my hips. I turned around to see Y/N. I smiled and picked her up, spinning her around. She giggled and I kissed her lips passionately. She kissed back and cupped my cheeks in her hands. I wrapped my arms around her dainty waist and she smiled, pulling away her lips. Her hair blew in the wind lightly and she looked gorgeous.

"I love you Y/N." I said, smiling down at her.

"I love you too Lance." She said back. I kissed her head and she put her head against my chest as we watched the sun set.

yay! I'm back guys! I'm so glad I'm writing again lol. I was hella inspired by the Lions being woman thing from a request I got, so I thought I might as well continue it! Again thank you all for baring with me, and I hope you all enjoy this part!
