Rosenfelle made the fae section of Siral look like a dollhouse. The section in Siral only consisted of a giant tree that housed several apartments, including Aubergine's, but Rosenfelle was three times the size of Siral's tiny section.
There was a grand oak in the middle, it's branches sprawled in every direction; nobles houses emerging from them. Around the large oak were smaller trees that held apartments and houses.
As the airship entered the port, Aubergine pointed out the large castle that sat on top of the main tree. The castle blended well into the leaves of the grand oak.
There were two different types of transportation in Rosenfelle. Carriages pulled by horses and deer littered the cobble roads around the bases of the trees, and large birds and winged creatures tugged chariots through the leaves.
After getting off the airship the two girls were greeted by a few of Rosenfelle's guards, who escorted them into a magnificent horse drawn carriage.
After they reached the base of the grand oak, they switched into a chariot, pulled by some strange pink and blue creature with large fairy wings.
Rosenfelle castle was a little larger than Siral's, but the main difference was the large vines that wrapped around the entirety of it. Bridges made of branches connected the different parts of the castle creating pathways that blended into the leaves around.
The air inside the great foyer smelled like roses, and Ever wondered how long it would take her to get a headache.
Prince June greeted them.
He had a chiseled face with curved hazel eyes, a slender nose, and long pointed ears. His long brown hair was pulled into a ponytail and tossed over the side of his green coat.
"Lady Ever? I presume?" Prince June bowed, and Ever curtsied back.
"Thank you for having us." Ever smiled charmingly, making sure to put on her best manners. Aubergine cleared her throat and Ever glanced at her, "Also, this is my lady in waiting, Aubergine."
"A pleasure to meet you."
"The pleasure's mine." Aubergine grinned, pleased with herself.
"I arranged for dinner at 5. But until then, would you care for a tour of the castle?" Prince June extended his hand toward Ever. "I'll have your luggage sent to your room."
"Sounds lovely." Ever placed her palm in his. "Just make sure they're careful with the green case." Ever smiled, and from behind her she could hear Aubergine sigh.
The inside of the castle wasn't anything extraordinary, it appeared just like the outside. Everything was natural, made of different types of woods and vines. Flowers were put in every corner they deemed empty or lacking.
"So, what did you think?" The prince asked as they rounded a corner and found themselves back in the foyer.
"The castle is very pretty. It reminds me very much of the one in Siral."
The prince smiled, and Ever glanced behind her at Aubergine, who hadn't said a word the whole time.
"Come along, let me show you to your room." The prince guided the two girls up the foyer stairs.
They stopped in front of a door with roses carved into it.
Prince June pushed it open, "This is the entrance, a sort of sit down area. In the back is the main bedroom. Off to the left is the lady in waiting's room and to your right is the washroom. I will leave you two to freshen up before dinner." The prince bowed.
