~Hi Lovelies! Sorry it's been a while, November has been super busy for me and I've been trying my best to keep up with everything! Also, I've been struck with awful writers block, I'll try my best to keep updated though! <3 ~

Ever woke up to a knock on her front door. She groaned as she swung her legs over the edge of her cot. Aubergine knew very well not to bother her past 11.

With a creak Ever pulled open the wooden door.

"Wyll?" Ever questioned.

"Good morning!"

"What are you doing here? And how did you get my address?"

"You're the only person sane enough to live in a swamp." Wyll retorted, "And I came to talk to you."

Ever sighed opening the door wide enough to let him in.

"Don't you usually have an army behind you?" She questioned.

"They're down there." Wyll pointed at a heavily armed vehicle with guards staring menacingly at her.

"Alright then. Come in."

"So, this is where you live?"

"A mansion, in my line of work." Ever mused.

"It's very...small."

"Way to be blunt about it." Ever snapped, she then sighed, "If this is about why I left yesterday, I-"

"I told my father that you weren't feeling well that evening." Wyll interrupted.

"And that was convincing enough? You're not the best at lying I discovered."

"Hey!" Wyll crossed his arms over his chest.

"So, I'm guessing that's not what you came to talk about?" Ever questioned. "Does this mean you found the artifact?!" She exclaimed.

"No."

"Oh."

"I came to invite you to-"

"No." Ever interrupted.

"What?" Wyll questioned, dumb-founded.

"No. No more balls or banquets. I've had enough polite manners and fancy dresses to last me a lifetime." Ever snapped.

"Ever. It's a social gathering of all the leaders at the nation's capital."

"And?"

"And, my father told me to invite you."

"To Thouria? Why can't he go? It's the nations leaders, isn't it?"

"It's more of a banquet party thing, and my father wants me to get used to ruling and taking charge."

"What does that have to do with me?" Ever questioned and Wyll sighed. He took a seat at the table.

"He's convinced that I'm going to marry you."

"Well."

"Well?" Wyll inquired. Ever pulled out the seat next to him and sat down.

"I'm sorry. I've been so rude after what happened yesterday. I just needed to-..." Ever sighed. "Clear my thoughts I guess. I don't know." Wyll reached out for Ever's hand and held it in his.

"Just think of this as one final break before finding the last artifact, and besides, all the nation's leaders will be there. Which means-"

"That we can figure out where the artifact is." Ever interrupted, "Not much of a break then is it?" Ever smiled weakly.
