Mark's POV
My friends and I finished making a video for tomorrow morning, I receive a call from the school. 'Oh gawd don't tell me things went wrong on her first day of school...' I prayed silently before answering the phone.
"Hello? Is it something wrong?" I asked.
My heart stinks as I heard something did happened to Sam. After the conversation, I hang up my phone and look at Amy, Kathryn, Tyler and Ethan while they're looking back at me.
"Something wrong Mark?" Amy asked.
"I have to pick Sam up," I replied.
"Tyler and I are coming with you," Amy said.
I nod in agreement and head toward the vehicle to pick Sam up.
~Time Skip~
Amy, and I got out of the car, while Tyler waiting in the car. We walk in the school building and head to the nurse. I spotted a girl who is next to Sam after I walked in.
"Hi, you must be Mr. Fischbach," the nurse said as she turns her head toward Sam, "Sam, your ride is here."
Sam nods as she gets up while another girl helps her up and brings her to me.
"Sam what happened?" I asked her in a whisper tone.
"I... I don't want to talk about it right now..." she replied, "Also can Ash come with us?"
I look at the nurse, which she just nods. Ash nods and walks with Sam staying by her side all the way home.

Ashely's POV
I help Sam to her room and gently set her down on her bed.
"Thank you," she said to me.
"Like I said, that's what friends are for, right?" I replied with a small smile.
"I guess... why you saved me back there?" she asked.
I thought to myself silently, which I know why I save her, but I'm not ready to tell her that. Not yet...
"Can't leave a friend in pain, friends have to watch each other's back. Not abandoning them to suffer," I said in confident tone.
"Wanna watch RWBY? Just to lighten the mood up?" I asked.
"Sure," she replied.
~Time Skip~
Sam's POV
Ash has to go home to do her homework. Meantime, I was looking through YouTube to watch some videos. I decide to watch Golf with Friends from Jack's channel. Suddenly I heard a knock from the door, which it was Mark.
"Hey Sam, how are you doing?" he asked.
"Getting better," I replied with a small smile.
"There's anything you want to talk about?" he asked.
I shake my head no, "not today really... maybe another time..."
I feel bad that I have to reject Mark, but I don't feel like I'm ready to talk to him or telling him some of my problems. I need to give myself a little time. I can see that Mark is a little hurt from my reply, but he seem to understand it.
"I understand," he said.
"Wanna play Slender: The Eight Pages?" I asked with a smirk.
"Let's do it," Mark said.
~Time Skip~
"FUCK OFF SLENDY!!!" I yelled while Mark screams like a little girl after seeing Slender Man. I continue collecting the page until Slender Man jump scare me out of nowhere.
"FUCK!!! FUCK YOU SLENDER MAN!!!" I yelled at the screen while using the middle finger at it.
"Ha! It's my turn," he said as he takes over the computer while I watch him trying to collect 8 pages.
So far Mark has collect 6 pages, which there was a jump scare music which it made me and Mark jump.
"Fuck!" Mark cursed.
"Well at least Slendy isn't there to scare us," I said and then Slender Man jump scare us.
Mark and I scream like bunch of little girls.
"I'm done!" Mark yelled.
"I agree," I said.
Mark quit the game as I'm starting to get tired.
"Welp, I better go to bed. Night Mark," I said hugging him.
"Night Sammy," he replied.
I head to my bed to go to sleep. I stare at the ceiling thinking about Ash and my friends. I never thought that I will make friends at the first day of school. Despite the shit that I've been through, I'm going to school tomorrow, for Ash, for Roger, for Will, and for Lucy! I'm not letting anyone like Britney or Billy get in my way!
