"Well you know all our names, what's your name sweetie?" James asked as soon as John left. Lorie felt blushed, James was her favorite. She turned around and faced him professionally.

"Good morning everyone, my name is Lorie and I am your new producer." She smiled while feeling completely embarrassed and getting a little red. She had never worked with anybody famous before and to be able to work with Metallica? She must be dreaming or maybe it's a prank. Whatever she had work to do.

"So, what song are we working with today?" Lorie asked the band.

"Quick question?" Lars asked, "Do you think you're up for it?" Everyone looked confused.

"I'm sorry, up for what?" Lorie asked.

"Well you know.. C'mon guys, don't you think she's a little too young to know us? To know our style, our music?" Kirk stepped in immediately,

"Lars stop being so mean to this young lady! She's just doing her job."

"Yeah sure but will she do it good?" Lars growled. James and Robert looked at each other looking for the answer.

"If you could just give me a song to work with, I'll make wonders. If you don't like it, well, you can fire me." Lorie said confidently. Lars looked threatened but at the same time he accepted.

"We're starting with Whiskey in the Jar. Are you familiar with that song ma'am?" Lars mocked Lorie.

"It's on my Spotify playlist, I listen to it every chance I get." Lorie responded. "Also, you can just call me Lorie, ma'am is my mom." She snapped.

James looked at Lorie with a smile that turned to laughter when she snapped at Lars.

"Hey Lorie," James motioned to Lorie, "Don't listen to what Lars has to say okay? He's bluffin', he doesn't mean what he says. Most of the time he just wants to give our crew members a tough time, especially the new ones." James patted Lorie in the back and reassured her not to be nervous.

"I can handle myself, I've been through enough bullshit. But, thank you. I appreciate the nice gesture." Lorie had become tense, it was her first day, a different band and now she was on Lars' bad side. She quickly went inside her office, or she assumed it was hers. John didn't really mention where she was to put her stuff. The guys followed her into the office and sat down.

"So, for this video, you already have one. You want to change it completely?" She asked the members. "Well we want to remaster our album "Garage Inc." and why not change the videos too?" Said Kirk. "Well lucky for you I love that song and I have an idea on what the video should be." Lorie responded calmly.

"What sort of idea?" Both James and Robert asked, Lars' ears perked up as she began to explain the concept of the video and what her thoughts were about the meaning of the lyrics.

"Well in your version of this song, James, you refer to the woman as Molly, which for a while I thought meant the drug, so why not do a video based on Molly. You know? The effects it has and what it does to someone's mind?" The band was intrigued and kept listening. Even Lars had been paying attention. "We can make the setting red and then when it's you guys playing your instruments it'll be dark with strobe lights?" Lorie wasn't too confident of the strobe lights, what if it was just a bad idea? "Or we don't do strobe lights, we make it black and white and have one girl, who will be playing Molly, walk around all of you." The band went quiet, they were silently judging her idea and gave nods all together.

"I think we have some work to do." Robert spoke up. James looked at Lorie, gave her a wink and said, "This is it guys, we're doing this."

Did he just wink at me? Lorie quickly thought, it's just a wink and you did just have a promising idea. Lorie was proud of herself and made her way outside. When she opened the door, she accidentally hit Oliver, who was coming back from the cleaners.
