"Has anyone talked to James today? I haven't heard from him since we all went home." Lars asked the guys.
"He's probably looking around his new house to see where he's going to put everything." Kirk said, "and that probably tired him out and he's taking a nap."
"That's true," Lars said, "we're not as young as we used to be."
"Should we go wake him up? Maybe we can carpool him to dinner." Rob suggested. "I'll go pick him up if nobody else wants to." He added.
"That sounds like a good idea Rob, I'll tag along. I haven't seen his place at all." Kirk said.
"Well you both go ahead, I'm gunna get dressed." Lars left the conversation and went home.
"Do you think he'd mind if we changed at his place?" Rob asked. Kirk laughed and they went out to L.A to look for James.
When they arrived at James house they went through a gate that had a password, which they figured out right away. It was the month and year of their very first gig. When the gates opened, their eyes widened, the house was HUGE! A very big house with a beautiful garden, and a fountain in the front. The house was dark gray all around with black bricks on the edges.
*Knock Knock*
No answer...
Kirk rang the doorbell. "Maybe he left already," Kirk questioned out loud, "let me call him."
As soon as he picked up
His phone to dial James the door opened, it was James, duh.
"How did you guys get in?" He said, he was sweating and his face was really red.
"We guessed the passcode, but umm... are you busy?" Rob asked pointing at his face. "No, no I'm not, I was just looking in the back and moving some stuff around for tomorrow. I'm getting a good exercise out of it." James laughed. "Come in guys."
"Hey is it cool if we change here for dinner?" Rob asked, smiling at the house. "You don't even have to ask, there's a restroom down the hall to the left or a guest room on the right, your choice."
"Wow James, this is a really cool house, it's big and dark." Kirk complimented James on his choice of house. "Thanks man, Lorie actually helped me choose the house, it was between this and a cabin, which I didn't mind. But this is closer to the studio and I've a got a view." He said proudly.
"Ohh, Lorie, hu?" Kirk winked at James.
"Go change man, imma jump in the shower and get ready as well." James was a little annoyed. He didn't like when they mentioned Lorie in any way.
"Alright, that way right?" Kirk asked.
"Yup, and don't worry about me guys, y'all can take off and I'll meet you guys at the restaurant."
"Are you sure? We really don't mind taking you." Kirk offered. "I'm sure, thanks bro."
