Creeping Around Part 1

LOCATION: Gotham City / The Two Aces Casino

Natasha's POV

Tonight was the Two Aces Casino Grand opening night the most luxurious casino in Gotham mostly catering towards the rich and famous but Bruce was kind enough to lend me his invitation,

I stood in the Aces Main Entrance along with my plus one Barbra Gordon AKA Bat Girl,

But we weren't here for the poker or the luxury champagne a local gang were targeting the major casinos in Gotham and Nightwing had come across some intel that tonight they would be hitting the Two Ace Casino next, 

Barbra and myself were here to ensure that doesn't happen.  

The atmosphere was electric and staggering Barbra takes a flute of champagne as a waiter with a tray passes by he then offers me one which I take but don't drink

<not that alcohol had any affect on me>

But Barbra happily drinks back hers.

Barbra wore a long green sleeveless dress and silver heels whilst I wore an above the knee long sleeved black glitter dress, smart black stilettos and my short blonde wig my name on the guest list said Natalie Rushman my favourite alias.    

"Do you own any other colour Natalie?" Barbra asks inspecting my black dress

"Black will always be the new black when it comes to fashion I don't really do any other colour" I reply to my fashion conscious friend

I could tell she felt uncomfortable in the dress I picked out for her she fidgets with the high heel on her left shoe

"These damn shoes are killing my feet" she says, however our business outfits were stashed away in a janitor closet not too far away. 

The hours quickly pass by safe to say I wasn't having fun this really wasn't my scene but I was very good at faking the emotion

"Nothing too suspicious so far" Barbra says but looks could always be deceiving there had to be around 50 million dollars rolling around on the gambling table tonight it was a very tempting target and my Widows instinct was on high alert.

"We should split up you stay by the main entrance use the ear piece to warn me if you see anything out of the ordinary, I'm going into the main casino to see if there is anything suspicious in there" I tell Barbra she nods her head, it was a good plan.

Barbra Gordon better yet known as Bat Girl I had grown fond of her and thought of her as a younger sister,

Batman and Robin (then Dick Grayson) had been hesitant to accept the help of the young crime fighter at first Barbra Gordon adopted the persona when her father Commissioner Gordon had been framed for a crime he did not commit by Two-Face. Barbra knew she had to act and I always saw potential in the young girl and began to teach her alongside the Batman.

I knew she struggled with her double life it bothered her lying to her father and joining Batman had caused her relationship with Dick Grayson to break down still I hold out hope that Dick will come to his senses they both clearly love each other but Dick had gotten real stubborn in recent years, he had thrown away the Robin costume and adopted the identity of Nightwing.

The Main Casino was even busier I cant see anything odd when suddenly I spot a familiar face at the end of the casino as I examine the crowd Jack Ryder, but some of us knew him as the 'Creeper'.

When he was doing a news report on the Origins of the Joker not too long ago at the ACE Chemicals plant the Joker decided to appear and poisoned him with his Joker toxin, threw him in to a Vat of acid and dumped the Vat into the ocean the concoction of all of this caused Jack to go crazy and become the Creeper, but I knew he wasn't a bad man
