LOCATION: Bat Cave

Dick Grayson's POV

Back in Gotham

Today has been a boring day I suppose it doesn't help that Natasha and Tim have taken all of the excitement with them

The time of 1:00 am was slowly creeping up upon Gotham and as the citizens went to bed the low life's came out but as of late things had been quiet which basically translates into boring

Barbra sits at the Bat Computer as I enter the Bat Cave she goes through the weekly police reports she was amazing with computers and I can tell that drives Tim crazy,

I didn't even realize anyone was down here as Bruce and Natasha were the only two that could stand being down here for too long, most people would hate spending too much time in this dank cold cave but you get used to it after a while and the bats make for some good company.

Me and Barbra hadn't spoken for a while now and I hated it I still love Barbra, but what do I say?

Come on Grayson time to be smooth think Grayson think!

"So Barbra how is Harvey Dent doing?" well better than saying nothing I suppose,

I couldn't bring the words out that I really wanted to say so I should stick to shop talk.

Since Black Widow's and Bat Girls last encounter with Harvey Dent or Two Face Natasha had been visiting Dent in Arkham since his suicide attempt I knew that Barbra would know the latest gossip

"Well Natasha says that Harvey has been surfacing a lot more he's even shown interest in complying with the GCPD to bring down some of the local gangs" Barbra tells me which is great Dent was a good man I knew Bruce held on to hope that his friend was still in there somewhere.

I begin to suit up for my nightly patrol when suddenly the Bat Computer states that there is an incoming transmission. Barbra walks over to the Bat computer

"It's from Tim" she says ominously, wait weren't Tim and Natasha in the mountains why would they be contacting the Bat Cave?

I look over her shoulder, but I can't make out what it says the message is hidden in some sort of code

"Oh no quick get Bruce, Tim and Natasha are in danger!" she exclaims but Bruce is already in the Bat cave he obviously heard the incoming transmission noise

"What does it say?" he asks

"It's written in a code that me and Tim came up with in case of an emergency it says that him and Natasha have come across the League of assassins and followed them back to their base and that they are up to something bad he's requesting back up immediately" Barbra replies I turn around and see that Bruce has already got in to his Batman ensemble.

I can tell that he's worried it had been too long since that transmission was sent

"Is there a location?" he asks Barbra

He looks anxious at Natasha and Tim being in danger I knew most of the time the Black Widow could handle herself but when it came to the League of Assassins they knew a lot about her past and I knew there was some sort of history between her and the League or so I've heard I tend not to pry too much into Natasha's past I know that she can get very defensive 

"I've got a signal on where they are" Barbra says as we jump in to the Bat Plane

"Good transmit the co-ordinates to the Bat Plane Nightwing and I will take care of this you stay here Bat Girl in case Robin or Black Widow try and get in touch" The Bat Wing begins it's start up sequence and very quickly we soar into the Gotham night sky to save our friends.
