 Happy Valentine's Day Gotham Part 3

LOCATION: GCPD (Gotham City Police Department) 

I reach the roof of the GCPD in a matter of minutes where somebody is waiting for me

"So him too huh?" says cop Rene Montoya

I knew she was one of only a few female cops in the GCPD and therefore the most competent police officer in the GCPD still this town could use more female officers.

"Yeah I'm guessing it's not so great in the GCPD either?" I ask her to which she shakes her head

"Uh huh sadly there aren't too many female cops in Gotham so I'm just holding the fort" we walk inside the GCPD I have to step over several officers as we walk down the hallway but across every desk was a police officer sound asleep. 

<I notice sleazy cop Harvey Bullock slumped over his desk asleep so nothing new there then.> 

"By the way how did you get that message to me?" I ask officer Montoya as she opens a door to the commissioners office

"Oh it wasn't my idea" she replies as I see two familiar faces in the commissioners office 

One of them was dressed neck to toe in a leather cat suit <emphasis on the cat> a bit like mine except a little bit low cut but the pointy cat ears most certainly made this character recognisable 

The other character had a pure white painted face and their skin tight outfit that covered her entire body was black and red with a symmetrical diamond pattern that somewhat reminisced of a character from "commedia dell'arte" as the jester red and black hat and the black mask made this individual very recognizable

AUTHOURS NOTE:> fun fact Harleen Quinzel adopted the name Harley Quinn based on the character "Harlequin" from a play called "Commedia dell'arte"

Harleen Quinzel and Selina Kyle other wise known a Harley Quinn and Cat Woman 

The first was the Jokers girlfriend and ex doctor from Arkham asylum until Joker brainwashed her in to becoming a criminal and the Jokers own personal punching bag 

The second was the most infamous cat burglar in Gotham city and sometime on off love interest of Batman but sometimes her heroic stripes can shine through.  

 "Hi Widow!" Harley says with a quirky little wave 

I can't believe this what are they doing here, two of the biggest female law breakers in Gotham city were sitting in the commissioners office willingly offering assistance when today of all days would probably be the most profitable day in their criminal careers.

Before I can either get a word out Quinn is wailing on the floor practically grasping my legs,

"Widow please tell me you can fix this oh PLEASE! Me and Mr J were meant to rob Valerie's Jewellers tonight you know what that means?"

I look at both Montoya and Kyle and they looked as confused as I was, Harley is now on the floor looking very sorry for herself, she wipes away an invisible tear very dramatically  

"A RING A GODAMN RING YOU HEAR ME!" She yells at the top of her lungs

We all cover our ears as her loud cries continue over a man who doesn't give two damns about her which is the real tragedy here
