To Gotham by Midnight Part 5
.---------------------------.
I don't know how long I've been hanging here,
too long
I need to come up with a plan soon but the pain was making it very difficult to think
However I try and push the feeling into the back of the mind but all I can think about is everything that I did wrong tonight
It was a fault of mine
I was the biggest judge of my actions
firstly I shouldn't have fallen for such an obvious trap you're better than that Romanoff,
Secondly I should have bought some back up or at least kept in contact with the Bat cave, but I'm done for counting my mistakes today.
I can't help but feel like I've let Batman down big time
I'll never forgive myself if those guns get sold to the gangs it could cost innocent lives, come on Widow get it together.
I try and draw the attention of one of the men he looked to be around 40 with long black hair and a beard with a strong southern accent
"Excuse me" I say whilst trying my best to sound weak he looks around at me
"Sorry mam but the boss says not to talk to you" the man replies
<wow 'mam' I am starting to feel old>,
The other man who didn't speak English but Spanish silently nodded in response
"But you don't understand I've got something important to tell you" I explain but I really just needed them to get closer and it works
I have their curiosity as soon as they are close enough I have to act quickly
I swiftly head-butt the both of them
It's a good thing that I've got a very solid skull one strike is all it took luckily but it unquestionably hurt me a lot more than it did them,
I use an old trick that I learned back in the Red Room to shuffle my way out of my restraints.
I hit the floor with a loud thud
I feel all the blood rush out of my head and back into areas that were feeling very numb,
I hold my head in my hands for a few agonising moments until I feel somebody helping me up off the floor
I panic for a split second fearing that one of Banes men had come back but my fear quickly retreats once I recognize the charming yet slightly gloating voice,
"You know I had a feeling that you may need a hand" says Nightwing as he supports me on his shoulder I smile at him
"Oh my hero" I say sarcastically.
We exit the building where I was being held only to see Tim running towards us
"You're ok!" he yells as he enwraps me in a big hug and given my previous injuries it was a painful hug
All of my broken ribs screamed in relentless agony,
"Ouch, good to see you too Robin" Tim quickly lets me go as soon as he realizes that I'm in pain
"Sorry Natasha" he apologizes, I look around and spot my gear my stingers and my utility belt on a nearby table
"Where is he?" I ask Nightwing
