"Sir! We've got a track on the car but the girl isn't present! The only stop on the highway is a small diner" A tracker back at Base said through my earpiece.

"Take me down, boys! She's at dinner!" I ordered the helicopter hovered above the granite ground, letting me and a few others climb down a ladder before the pilot headed back up to the sky with a few members of the crew.

As we walked into the diner I plotted guys around the premises, inside and outside. Slowly I approached a waitress at the counter, hoping that she'd seen Isabella.

"Have you seen this woman?" I held out a photo, it was sure to be all over the news by now... her face and all. The boss at Base said that it may help, but I knew it would make things easier for the guys trying to hunt her down.

The waitress looked me up and down smirking. She's totally wasting my time, while she's checking me out.

"Have you!" I shouted morlikeas a commanthanen a question.

"Yes she was in the toilets not long ago," she said with a shocked expression at my sudden outburst "I'll go check for you" she smiled shakily as she disappeared into the corridor.

I swear women these days, they just want to get into my pants! Can they not keep their legs closed for five fucking minutes? Although whenever isabella looks at me, she looks intrigued physically but her eyes are always so sceptical of me. Which makes me believe that she's different. Well, I've only known her for a couple of hours, so I guess she has the right to be unsure of me.

The waitress returned and sighed "no sign". I could tell she wanted something in return, but I just flipped her off, no way was I giving her anything... she's just a whore anyway.

My radio suddenly 'bleeped'. I took hold of it and sent in a message "what have you found boys?" I spoke

"Sir! The girl is on the roof!" My survaelence guy on the helicopter declared "repeat! The girl on the roof!"

"Copy that" I walked quickly to the door.

My radio suddenly shouted "She's running agent! Fast! We can't keep up and we are losing her!" A guy on the ground informed me.

"Fuck! Not on my watch!" I grumbled as I climbed a ladder up to the roof.

"Agent! It's a negative! We've lost sight of the target! "
"I haven't!" I commented angrily. I picked up the pace, hitting speeds that even a professional runner couldn't maintain. I was panting heavily.

"Better pick up those feet, rusty old man!" Isabella giggled
"Rusty? And who said I was old!" I chuckled at her thought of me being elderly and crippled.

Finally, I caught up and plummeted her to the ground in a rugby tackle.

She smacked her head on the floor.

"Shit! You okay?" I started worrying about her.

"Course I'm not fucking okay! You prick!" She sat up holding her head as she tried to sort out her dizziness.

I sighed inwardly and hoisted her up into my strong bold arms. Did she rest her head against my chest... for support? I questioned myself trying to find an answer but dropped it.

I held onto her tightly; such a small, light and fragile body. The crew sent down a cage to pull us up into the helicopter safely.

The boys and I strapped her in tightly with knots... she unsurprisingly just gave in after that huge impact on her head. Maybe it literally knocked some sense into her? I smiled at that thought quietly.
