There are secrets that can't be shared with just anyone whether that's the occupation of one or the new discovery of the other.

The sound of vehicles alarmed me greatly. My head shot to the sound behind me, the lights were getting brighter... they were catching up.
Avoid them! Head west!
My body reacted at the thought. After a few seconds of running, I came to a halt. There was a clearing in the trees, an ending horizon and beautiful flower patches.
I stepped forward into the emptiness and approached the edge, I felt the oceans breeze, smell, sound and calmness.
In an instant, I felt peace and jumped. The water steadied my pounding heart.
I could no longer hold my breath so I surfaced, surprisingly next to a yacht. My mind and body switched into stealth mode.
I checked my surroundings as I heaved myself up onto the deck. Clear.
With vetinary's mini-gun at my side, I hid around a corner and cautiously stuck an eye out.
Four guys.
Vetinary's gun sent off shots towards the four guys with precision.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The sound of the shots rang in the air as I lost consciousness.

Once I resurfaced to my consciousness, I didn't know how long I had been out for.
I suddenly went into paralysis as I heard a gunshot.
My heart and breathing began to race as I thought about if someone had killed a comrade.
As I was in my deepest darkest thoughts, hands touched the back of my head and there was a loose feeling. Light-filled my irises and adjusted to the change in exposure.
I peered through the blur. Vetinary. He began to loosen the ropes, there was a discussion in my head;
Why is he here? How long have I been on board? How did he find me? Was he the one who sent a bullet? What's happening?
Vetinary began to pick me up and wrap his arms around me to pull me into a hug. I don't trust him.
"Let me go!" I screamed harshly at him. He gripped on tighter. I reached into the back of his trousers and pulled out his gun. I pushed it against his throat pushing it up into his chin.
"Woah! Why are you pointing it at me?" He reacted.
Vetinary's eyes widened as I pressed it harder into his throat. Suddenly he pulled a move to snatch his gun back, he put it back into his trousers.
My eyes narrowed. "Liar! You know why!"
You betrayed me... You want me dead... You used me... I thought I could trust you...
"What are you talking about?!" He demanded as he started to approach.
I took a step back and glared at him in the eye "Fucking liar" I snarled.
"What do you mean?"
Throwing my arms up into the air in defeat and headed towards the exit door.
"It's locked" Vetinary chuckled.
I slowly turned around annoyed, I was about to throw a punch as I swung round... instead, I was met with lips crashing onto mine.
My hips were secured by strong, rough hands. His fingers travelled up my back, I knew I could not let him have control. I clenched my fist at my side and threw a punch into his right cheek.
"Couldn't feel it" he mumbled in a deep voice, against my lips
I let him have control as he kissed and bit on my neck. Hickey. He growled as I tugged on his brown spiked hair.
I backed up gradually and he pushed me up against the wall of the yacht. As I was trying to catch my breath from the sudden pressure on my lungs from the rough impact, he took the opportunity of sliding in his tongue and they intertwined.
I wasn't able to resist him anymore.
A few events occurred that night, multiple loud sounds and rounds.

Well, let me just say I woke up feeling 10x better despite my lack of sleep. The view count and vote count have increased which I really wasn't expecting to happen.
You all mean so much to me, even just reading the chapters I release is enough for me, makes ms feel like my effort hasn't went unnoticed.
This story is one of my shortest, along with my extra short story Sacred which is set in a fantasy world of japan. My other book Soulless is one I am still working on, the chapters are longer and I always spend hours trying to write just one or two chapters. I love the plot and the characters I produced so I am very dedicated to that book.
