Darkness...

All I can see is black.
Am I dreaming?
Am I asleep?
Have I got a blindfold on?

Where am I?

Why can't I lift my eyelids? Are they sewn shut?

My shoulder hurts...
My thigh is killing me...
I feel drowsy.

Have I been drugged?
What's happening to me?
What's going on?

Help! Please help!

My throat is so parched! I need water!

There's warmth rushing through my right hand... what is that?

Have I been kidnapped?

Oh god!
Is my hand on fire? What if the kidnappers find out?!

Hang on.

Why does it feel like someone is holding my hand? Who is that?

Vetinary? Please say it's him?

A voice hand rung out. My ears strained to hear what they were saying.

It must be veterinary trying to speak to me. The voice is soft and velvety but deep and capturing. It is him.

"Princess... Isabella... wake up! Please! For me! You've been in a coma for a week now! Hurry up! Come back to me." He sobbed out.

Oh vetinary. I will awaken I promise.

I can see the chains that are keeping me bedridden... keeping me unconscious but I'm still aware. I just need to break free.

I need to snap the bonds.

My soul spirit walk towards the chains! Break the chains! Get a weapon, something sharp! Please! I beg of you! Help me get back to the one I love!

....Please!....

She's been out for a week... I've hardly left her side since then. She needs to wake up. The people following us will catch up. They will see what happened at the house and will come looking.

I felt her hand begin to tremble. I looked up at her face hopefully. That hope turned into a panic, her breathing elevated and the monitor picked up an unsteadily fast heartbeat.

"Crap! Isabella! Holy shit!" I ran to the corridor. "We need help! I don't know what's happening!" Then rushing back into the room I pressed the emergency button.

Seconds ticked by and doctors and nurses rush in. One grabbed my arm.

"Son you need to get out!"

"What! Why?"

"She's waking up. But her unconsciousness state of mind is willing her body to stay in her coma... but her brain and her heart want to fight it" the nurse said "it could go terribly wrong and we need space"

I was harshly shoved out of the room, the door slammed shut and the blinds dropped so I couldn't see what was going on.

My feet staggered back and my back hit the wall. I slid down to the ground. There was shouting, orders being given out, fuzzing sounds followed by a high pitch sound of something being charged. Then.......

"Clear!"

They're using the defibrillator. Shit that means her heart stopped, she has to pull through. She can't let go of her life. I know it's not the best life right now but she has to pull through for herself, for me, her family and her friends.

After a few minutes of the defibrillator going off, I blocked it out and endless tears poured down my face.

She hasn't made it...
She gave up...
Please! God no!
Isabella...

You've got to wake up.
