Chapter 13

"Anna honey can you come down please." yells my mom.

I get up from my comfortable spot in my room where I am reading the script for lost in love 2.

I run down the stairs and go to the kitchen. there is a man in a suit drinking coffee. I stand in the doorway awkwardly because his back it towards me.

"Um ya mom." I say looking at her

"Your dad's home." she chirps happily.

The man turns around and it's my dad. His eyes green and piercing through me. His dyed brown hair us gelled back like Elvis Presley style.

"Hello anna." He says cooly standing up.

"Hello George." I say as cooly as he does.

He opens his arms as I stand stiffly in the doorway.

"Come give your father a hug." he says motioning for me.

After a few moments I robotically go and give him a hug, like I would do when I am getting interviewed.

He sits back down and motions me to sit.

I sit down next to my mom.

"So Anna it has been a while," he says frowning "6 years."

"No 5 years sir." I say cooly

"Well why the sudden reunion back?" he say raising a eyebrow

"I needed a vacation." I say flatly.

"Well is it not because of this?" he says pulling out a people magazine.

I am on the cover and so it james. there is me with a pair if sunglasses and me blocking the cameras as my EX BOYFRIEND is smiling and absorbing the lime light.

There is a caption below.

"James and Anna have called it quits because of a secret affair going on since before their relationship. read more to find out!"

I roll my eyes.

"So are you really here because you miss us or are you here for refuge because last time I made it clear that you weren't welcomed back." he says crossing his arms

I stand up knocking over my chair.

" I came back because I do miss you guys and I need a vacation from working my ass off. but it seems like I'm not wanted here." I yell storming out of the kitchen the to back door where I pull on my rain boots "and by the way I never missed you!" I slam the door

I trudge through the mud and rain to the barn.

The barn door is open and I burst in. I climb up to the loft and fall onto the couch.

When I was 8 we built a loft hangout where we installed a mini fridge a heater and a tv. we also moved in a small couch.

I switch in the tv.

Instead if focusing on the tv my thoughts just run through my mind.

It has been a while science the last blow out with my father. and I seriously hate him with every fiber of me. he always finds whys to make me look like the bad guy when he really started it! I remember the biggest argument I have every had with him.

Flashback

"Anna you are not moving to LA." yells my father

"I am I have a audition set up!" I yell back

"Anna when I say no it means no!" he yells. it feels like the house is shaking.

"Well why not!" I scream getting in his face "you told me when I was 9 that I could. Mom is supportive if me why not you"

"Anna you are 12 and there are so many 12 year old girls auditioning and not getting what they want." he says falling back on a chair

"I can make it and I will show you and prove to you." I yell. "and when I get my first oscar I will scream in the mike, I did it and you can suck balls!"

I go to the front door and grab my duffel bag and go to the taxi waiting for me.

End of Flashback

I shake my head out of that memory.

My dad was never there to support me. (Oh and by the way when I did win my first oscar, I didn't yell "suck balls", if you were wondering).

My mother and brothers and sisters are my only true fans from the start. I hate my dad with every fiber of my being.

Sorry for such a bad chapter. just needed a filler kind of chapter.
